Maybe this is just selection bais but it appears a lot of these millia extraction are on people who use makeup and in areas they apply makeup, perhaps makeup can cause millia?
MissKingdomVII: Hoping you never need cataract surgery! You must remain awake during the procedure, although the anesthetist gives you what they call "twilight sleep" ...but sleep is not involved; it's a tranquilizer, and an anesthetic. There's no pain, but anxiety was so strong it made me think I hadn't had any tranquilizer. Tense, tense, tense! Still, the fact that I was able to hold still for something like eye surgery proves it must have been a powerful tranq!
What a stubborn little milia! Love how gentle Dr. Lee is when working around such a sensitive, delicate area. It makes it even more satisfying when they finally pop out.
Ikr, I once got a deep paper cut in the middle of my eye. It was the most painful thing I ever experienced... I could only imagine how traumatizing a blade would be if it slipped!
Dr. Sandra Lee, I got your comedone remover and received it today in the mail. It works so well! Immediately I practiced on my husband, who is less thankful for it. Anyways, thanks for the great videos.
That's a rip off. I saw the same one at target for 13.00 and on Amazon for around 5-8.00,and three really nice kits , sets of five for between 9-15.00 or close in there I don't remember exactly but I remember it was a REALLY good price. Thank yo for the price information, I appreciate that.
I can see where at the corner of her eye this might bother her. I can tell when I have something there. It is so sensitive. You did such a gentle job of getting that thing out.
i had one of these in the same spot for the longest time. i finally decided to take lancet to pierce it and i managed to pop it out myself. it was so insanely satisfying
Dr. Sandra Lee I'm addicted to all your videos you're posting!!! I see how you love your work, and also are nice to your clients. Keep up the good work, and many blessings to you and your family. Greetings from Suriname! 😘 😘 😘
I have the same thing on my upper lipline. One time my dad (who is a nurse) cut it open with a scalpel without numbing it first and a tiny pearlescent ball came out. It hurt super bad but was really satisfying. It came back after a month though and I still have yet to remove it again
I received one of your come done extractors for Christmas. I too had a milia in the inner canthus of my left eye. I used a needle to pierce the skin and then the extractor to get it out. Btw, I absolutely love you and your channel. I'm a nurse and a self professed popaholic.
Dr. Sandra lee I’m studying to become a doctor, I used to think cosmetics and plastics were a joke but your videos have really changed my mind and stoked interest. You make stuff that seems so unimportant look so interesting. If I ever take up cosmetics I’ll write you up
Your professionalism and empathy are well-matched by your skill with your hands. A demandingly precise procedure over in a few minutes, very well done.
I first saw the title with the word "eye" in it and I was worried for a second, but the second I saw the angle of the needle, I knew you knew what your were doing. One of my biggest fears when seeing stuff like this near the eye, is when the scalpel/needles are aimed towards the eye. Awesome video, that girl was so brave.
I wonder if she got a little bit of a black eye? due to the shot and extraction in that area, very sensitive skin there and very thin I might add. LOVE YOU DR. LEE ^_^
I have given more black eyes than I can count, mainly after skin cancer surgery/MOHs surgery. I always joke that I should have a "wall of shame" with pics of all the black eyes I've created. ;)
Don't ever get a metal splinter in your eye then, did it twice, 12 months apart, the first time they picked it out with a big ass needle, the second one they got out in the A&E department, but I had to go back next day to see their eye specialist and he informed me there was a rust ring, very common with metal apparently. He said we will get that in jiffy as we don't want to leave it in there, here was me thinking OMG an overnight stay GA and a few days recovery. NO! off he goes and comes back with his DREMEL and a (thankfully surgical) burr, and he drilled it right out, there and then. THATS SCARY.
Dr. Lee I have this 2! And for 40 years I get it away by myself with that thing on the end a little opening, without any nomness... I find you the most respectful&lovely dermatologist I ever met... Thank you for sharing those things! ❤🙏
Do asian woman more commonly get milia? I dont know if it is just show more on youtube but ai have just noticed a lot of women of asian decent get milias around their eyes and forehead.
I am white and i have them around my eyes. I cant find anyone that will remove them that close to my eye. It does bother me so i wish i could remove it.
It is so stupid to do any procedures if its harmless and not to mention that the thing isnt even visible... Some ppl have the biggest problems with the smallest things.. ;/
I had one in my bottom eyelash area. You couldn't really see it , but it did become painful and easily irritated. When I had mine taken out there was no numbing medication and it left me with a black eye.
You have to go to an eye doc, an ophthalmologist, to have milia near the eyes removed. No other doc will touch them; Dr. Lee is very unusual, most dermatologists won't touch them either.
Devon Pfeifer I don't know if I'd allow an esthetician to treat something so close to my eye like that. She'd have to use a needle to open up the milia to extract it. But that's just my take on it, everyone can make their own judgement call, of course.
Not as bad as the back blackheads. I swear sometime she pushing so hard she is going to go right to China! The skin is left looking a real mess. I would be interested in seeing what the person's back looks like the next day!
That was one in a milium
BLIND AMBITION lol
this comment is underrated

I never knew I could hold my breath for 4 minutes
Girl RIGHT??? I had to fast forward for the bits where she was cutting near her eye... goodness!!!
I did the same omfg
😂😂
I justed watched the video 😀
Oh gosh! I read your comment and just realised I was holding my breath 😂
That must've really been bothering her! How did they even FIND that one?! LOL.
She probably saw it while applying her makeup :)
Maybe this is just selection bais but it appears a lot of these millia extraction are on people who use makeup and in areas they apply makeup, perhaps makeup can cause millia?
You can feel it though
Fog Lune I agree, I'm 35 and have never worn eye makeup and have several millia around my inner eye area.
I have one on my face I’m a 28 year old male and I try to weak make up as little as I can lol.
My anxiety level was so high watching this omg.
Luna Cosmia mine too! Haha I wonder if that is even worse for my anxiety haha
I was relaxed by this to the point i almost fell asleep

I'm fine with blood, gore, guts, pimples... lol But sharp objects near the eye? I cover my own eyes in horror. lmao
I feel ya
but it's dr lee doing it! you can trust her :)
+demonmod sorry I trust no one, I learned the hard way. Either by accident or on purpose, unfortunately.

Ikr, I once got a deep paper cut in the middle of my eye. It was the most painful thing I ever experienced... I could only imagine how traumatizing a blade would be if it slipped!
+99growlithe99 the most painful papercut I got was on my thumb. pain every time it moved
+99growlithe99 how
+jalynieee my DH always says the worst pain ever is a paper cut between the fingers 😏
+Linda Friend yes! especially if it's where you bend your fingers. no band aid can help either 😂
Dr. Sandra Lee...skin whisperer.
This one's good
😂😂😂😂
Dr. Sandra Lee, I got your comedone remover and received it today in the mail. It works so well! Immediately I practiced on my husband, who is less thankful for it. Anyways, thanks for the great videos.
Awesome! Tell your husband he is lucky to have someone taking care of him! 😜
Mine doesn't like it either ;)
That's funny. If you don't mind me asking, how much did it cost to order the comedone extractor from dr. Lee?
Go to www.drpimplepopper.com. It was 20 dollars.
Is there a specific reason why milia is more common around the eyes
Yes, I have one in the exact same place and I've noticed other people who have one there.
My mom has one right there too.. Wondering the same
i like your name
I have another one or two on my eyelids and they're right where my eyelashes are or under my eyelid.
I wanna know too. I have one on my eyelid and another in my eyebag area
Dr. Sandra, this video is truly one in a “milium.” Thank you for the quality content👌🏻
🥁
I can see where at the corner of her eye this might bother her. I can tell when I have something there. It is so sensitive. You did such a gentle job of getting that thing out.
Oh I would be so scared to have this procedure done. :-/
Right!!! What if you sneeze while she has the blade of needle near your eye 😖
I would be afraid with anyone else, but she's the real deal. I totally would trust her. Popping is such a small part of what she really does.😊
Sneeze? I'd let my head explode before I sneezed during something like that. give the patient some credit for some brains, lol.
I would insist on an iv with a little valium. I mean wtf? My stomach was in a knot just watching.
I did this on myself yesterday
Dr. Lee has such a soothing voice and reassuring way about her.
i had one of these in the same spot for the longest time. i finally decided to take lancet to pierce it and i managed to pop it out myself. it was so insanely satisfying
Ruhkk does it hurt?

Nerve racking. I don't know how you do this. Grateful you're there with your knowledge.
I had a milia growing on my eyelid for two years and it FINALLY went away on its own. They suck!

Needles scare me.
Getting sharp things near me eyes scare me.
Not being able to see and what's happening scares me.
This would be my worst nightmare

I love how patiently is the patient is sitting and trusts the doctor.
Did anyone else read the subtitles? Where she said "you felt a little pinch?" It changed to "you f***ed a little b****?"
Your videos are always so interesting!
Geesh that made me nervous!
Wow! The prettiest eyes on yt

Oh................
More pimple popping videos pls, Dr. Lee!! 😆😆😆
I really wouldn't have bothered you can hardly see them. And return she will have a black eye. :(
Whatever bruising she has in that spot will be all gone in about 24-36 hours, and the bump will be gone forever.
I had one there and it bugged the heck out of me. It made my eye tear constantly and I was always scratching it.
The woman said "I already feel better" after the spot got numbed. So I guess it actually hurt and bothered her.
Its not the seeing them that matters, it’s the pain
Clearly you don't know how much it hurts. And I will tell you - it hurts like hell
This patient has gorgeous eyes!

was she the one with all of the milia under her eyes?
Sure looks like her, doesn't it.
Tanto lugar para nascer espinhas, vai nascer logo perto do olho !!!
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SATISFYING!!!!!!!!
Do asian woman more commonly get milia? I dont know if it is just show more on youtube but ai have just noticed a lot of women of asian decent get milias around their eyes and forehead.
I'm a white American male.. I have them around one eye :/
+the one and only
Well yes I know people get the all the time but I very commonly see them on asian women which is why I was asking.
I'm as Caucasian as they come and have had several milia, including 2 or 3 near my eyes that my ophthalmologist had to get out for me.
I'm Korean and I've gotten them, but I still have no idea if it's common or not! So, idk *shrug*
I am white and i have them around my eyes. I cant find anyone that will remove them that close to my eye. It does bother me so i wish i could remove it.
I really love your personality Dr Lee :)
It is so stupid to do any procedures if its harmless and not to mention that the thing isnt even visible... Some ppl have the biggest problems with the smallest things.. ;/
I mean if it's causing her pain that's really rude to say. Not everything is about appearance.
The question is how painful it is... The best to do is not to make people bleed needlessly...
I had one in my bottom eyelash area. You couldn't really see it , but it did become painful and easily irritated. When I had mine taken out there was no numbing medication and it left me with a black eye.
So the black eye was because of the procedure?
Mam you are truely an awsome surgeon. Lot more to learn from you. Thanks for sharing
I've this thing under My eyes. when I went to the doctor to check up, he said "it will disappear on its own" and did nothing. :D
You have to go to an eye doc, an ophthalmologist, to have milia near the eyes removed. No other doc will touch them; Dr. Lee is very unusual, most dermatologists won't touch them either.
Some estheticians/facialists will also be able to remove milia, as well. Mine did a great job removing mine from under my eyes.
Devon Pfeifer I don't know if I'd allow an esthetician to treat something so close to my eye like that. She'd have to use a needle to open up the milia to extract it. But that's just my take on it, everyone can make their own judgement call, of course.
does it hurt anyway? I'll see.
thank you.
Naqa' Jawaade'h Estheticians can't use any kind of numbing, AFAIK, so a doctor could at least do that for you before the extraction.
A very delicate procedure and good size milia !
Is her eyeliner tattooed on??
probably just waterproof
i think so
Probably so~mine looks like that. Didn't hurt. It was loud, though and buzzy sounding.
She is one tough cookie!!!
Her eye is exactly like jungkook's eyes lol
maybe because theyre asian
I love how kpop fans can always relate anything asian to that stupid band like stfu
OMG - What a brave woman !!!!!!
You gouge. Every damn video you gouge. You dig for blood.
Not as bad as the back blackheads. I swear sometime she pushing so hard she is going to go right to China! The skin is left looking a real mess. I would be interested in seeing what the person's back looks like the next day!
Love this channel. But I gotta be real... She's a butcher
I agree.
Why don't you go away, troll? No reason to hang out here and inflict your comments on us. Go away.

Great job doc!

Her eye makeup was simple and cute
Wao, congratulation!
Her eyes are so beautiful
Love u Dr Sandra Lee
Omg I have one of these and am so tempted to take it out myself.
It hurts. I did one on my upper eyelid.
Just did it!!!! It did not go well. My eye got very irritated but it went away. However, I did not get all the pus out so that's not good.
+Fruits and Roots do you have one of those pimple popping tools or did you just use your hands?
I do not have one f those tools. I used a sewing needle and tweezers -bad idea!
so satisfying!
Love your videos Sandra ❤️
notification squad strikes again 🙌🙌
The both of you were so brave doing that! GAH!
good job doc! I was nervous.
SO USEFUL
Her eyeliner is perfect and she beautifully shaped eyes.
