It's been a great year! Whatever you decide to do, we will all be here supporting your decision. Be true to yourself and you'll be happy everyday =D! Keep up the great advice and running videos.
I really enjoy the videos and honesty. It's always a good reminder that bad sessions or good sessions aren't the deciding factor for success. I recently got a 5k pb of 20:03 😢 and it felt like a setback but I'll try again and get sub 20 soon enough just being consistent and trying to do my workouts effectively
I wanted to take a minute to say Thank you for the transparency and authenticity that you continually bring to your channel. I originally found your channel looking for training insights from someone much more capable than I am. I look forward to your new videos not just for the training insights (which are great), but also for the humanity that you bring to each video. Good, bad or ugly, you are willing to show us the real struggles that chasing a dream entails. It's never sugar coated and it's always honest. I really appreciate that. It's inspiring without glorifying anything. As we head into 2025, I wish you both success and peace, A centeredness that calms you & the Joy we all find occasionally in just freeing ourselves to just enjoy the run and the training process. Peace brother!
Stay hungry...stay passionate. I see you running 2:07-2:08 in the next 18mths & really enjoying that intense dedication & committment new marathon pbs require. Youre a legend. Cheers from Aus.
Hey Stephen, I just wanted to say thank you for not only giving deeper insights into how to become a better runner, but also for sharing your thoughts and feelings about life in general. I really appreciate it a lot! I wish you all the best for 2025! Keep it up! Cheers, Benny
Well done for the year Stephen everything u have done has been a new step into a new chapter onwards and upwards!! I recently just did a debut at Valencia Marathon ran pretty well with a time of 2:28:51 the last 8k was the hardest thing i’ve ever pushed in my life the amount of time’s i thought to stop was crazy, but i pushed past the pain barrier didn’t give up until i crossed that line!! Thank u for all ur hard work in making these video’s, they have been a great help to my first official Marathon Keep up the hard work!!
I love the idea of 1 day in the future seeing you across a crowded room, catching your eye, and giving you the alfred nod..... just to say thankyou for how much you helped me with my running.......
Thank you for the videos, the truth and the dedication. You have been my number 1 go to man for my running journey. Word of advice, running a business and running contractually will conflict with each other if you do not have a team of people helping you and backing you. Look at people like Eliud Kipchoge who have contracts but still have businesses and merch that sell because he has a team of people who are backing him. All the best with the upcoming Marathons. Just enjoy your body and the runs. Rest more so that you can get more out of your body. Don't overrun and taper down last few weeks as it is a recipe for failure. If you haven't beaten 2:09 with your current way of training, then you need to change how much you run to less miles, equal aerobic vs anaerobic exercises and more rest so that your average Marathon time drops lower. You beat lactate anaerobically. Increase your stamina intensities and you will process lactate better and have less in your blood at 5:00/mile. Run like hell once a week 80-100% max capacity on a track @ 10km or higher distance with an average of 2:00/km or less then the next day run at 5:00/km for the same distance or more. You will break 3:00/km average and increase your aerobic capacity above your anaerobic capacity @ 80/20 in a 24hr period and your 3:00/km will be more efficient lactate wise. Take care and have an awesome festive season
Thank you very much, I really enjoy your content, it's so true & profound. You really inspire me and I'm learning a lot from your videos. Seasons greetings and All the best for 2025
A friend and I started a running club to help bring a community of people who wanted to run and just needed someone to do it with. It's grown quite a lot and there seems to be no end in sight just yet. I've been watching your videos again and again to help me bring concepts in running to the others in as sinple a manner as I can manage. Being an artist, we have also started designing our own clothes. It's going well and i gooe one day we find ourselves on the same run so I can get you that nod 😊
Happy Christmas man, hope you can take a well deserved rest. Love your videos, your training plans and the clothing, you should be proud of what you’ve built!
Scully- Happy Christmas you might think your greedy in the past etc but you're helping myself more than you know. Fyi your marathon plan two weeks in is insane nothing like Iv ever done before but seeing results already - have a safe holiday.
this words just fits to my situation. thanks and happy christmas too!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I am asking myself similar questions for sure. One way leads to more computer time with anxiety, skeletal problems but more money. The other is 3000km with 41000m elevation gain 😅 a strong body and soul with less money
We wanna see you smash a trail race. That would be some great content! Would be awesome to see your years of experience break down a trail race and the differences you find.
I've been following your vlog for a year or so and I have learned a lot from it. It's helped me with my running / hyrox training. You've got the best training Vlog out there because of honesty and your ability to put yourself out there so please don't stop competing. I / people can really benefit from learning about the mentality or psychology required to compete.
You and me both. Turns what could be a good thing or deal into a pain.. sadly it’s the cost and often times I pay more if weight is over 1kg perhaps.. I cover the rest etc.. sad times.
I still think you should do a 50K ultra trail race. I think some great content would come out of it. The transition, figuring out nutrition, recovery, etc. You have the fitness and potential to do very well.
Hello Stephen, I saw you are using a Stryd pod. I love using it, what are your thoughts and at what CP percentages did you ran this run? Keep up the good work and whatever you're going to do next year, don't forget you are a lot of peoples favourite runner and RUclips person!
Hey, not sure what percentages as I haven’t really done a decent test of CP. but for something like today I was running at 400watts for the 3 x 10 mins
Started running again in April. 25 mins 5k was my best effort. Now mid December im in 18 min shape but hurt my Achilles running a 1500m 400m on track. Managed a 52s 400m with no sprint work which was cool. Hopefully im back at base training level by feb
@ When i was 12 to 16 i used to run at a competitive level (top 30uk) for my age so was pretty good and now aged 26 despite being unfit i got some “running fitness” back pretty fast. My advice, train a little less hard and a little more often. You want to nurture yourself with consistent gentle and progressive training stimuli.
Ah, nice to see you also get 'those' people who walk on the path on the wrong side or, walk their dog on the path and not on the grass next to them, thus blocking the whole path. I'll never understand why the dog needs to walk on the path.
Merry Christmas!! Christ wasn’t greedy like us but lowered Himself to be a Suffering, Servant; a Saving Sacrifice. 🙌🏻 🙏🏻💯. Thanks for a great year of contributions Stephen! 😎🤙🏻
Ok, excuse my ignorance again, but what the hell does this mean, "8 miles run with 6 @ steady effort @ around marathon effort plus 60-80 secs per mile, and so this is not just an easy run"? 6 miles @ steady and then the last two at that effort plus 60-80 seconds per mile?
It's been a great year! Whatever you decide to do, we will all be here supporting your decision. Be true to yourself and you'll be happy everyday =D! Keep up the great advice and running videos.

Happy Christmas, Stephen. Love the videos and the honesty. Always motivational and real.

its well priced product shipping cost balances it out. Quality product could not recommend more
Inspired. Heading to Victoria park now for 3x 10 mins. Will aim for sub 4 min kms but may mean walking in the recovery.
Just a nod from South Africa🙂↕️
That’s the session I did yesterday
Batman & Alfred 🤘
Interesting, thank you yeah is useful. 👍🏼
Alfred has the best quotes. Michael Caine is the best.
Hi man, firstebal thank you..I realise you have to chose..my opinion just take both, and go with the flow..chose both.
what do you call the drill being done at 2:45?

I would also like to see Scully shoot for a 50k or 50 mile ultra. 🫶
desert rats 50k or 100k in colorado 👀

Hey Sculli, any chance you'll be getting Black mediums back in stock for the Marathon pocket tights?
There is some ordered etc. fingers crossed they land in asap.
Hi Stephen, what are the white running shoes you used for this workout?
🙏🏽🙏🏽
Can’t seem to add anything to the cart in the shop. Anybody else having same issue ?
Olympics 2028, yes or no?

It's 6 miles at 60-80 seconds slower than your marathon pace (this is 'steady' pace). The other 2 miles would be your warmup/cool down
Hey ! I just did 4x 10 minutes…. But I think a bit slower than you….👍
What hat are you wearing?
