Totally agree, that applies for Mamamoo's members too, same goes with Jinho and Hui from Pentagon !! I wish they would agree to not only see the boysband side of k-pop but how talented those groups are ! How amazingly are their dancing capacities (Stray Kids, NCT 127, and more I don't know much sorry) and vocally (philiphinos have such a level as well) ! As well as for how they build beat and how their lyrics are as profound as Americans music, depends on the artist of course...

happily,they are very popular in Korea ♥️ promoting them into US is a big step..judging that my friends has to hide they listen to kpop because people make fun of them..is a hard thing to do..I mean,many people doesn't like kpop abroad and spread hate when we talk about it . As a fan,it hurts me when I see other people saying shit about other's music taste.

PatsliTV solar auditioned a lot but didn’t get any call backs so she decided to be an air hostess before Rainbow Bridge called her up. She auditioned like 40 times. Thank the lord for RBW

I actually believe Solar would make great things happen if she came out with a solo gig. I'm really curious to know what her solo work would look and sound like. I can tell she has something to show the world.

She had a 3 day solo concert in Seoul and Busan last year already :)
As the 2 Moos above said, she had a 3 days solo concert in Seoul + 2 days in Busan last year (all sold out, and the concept was called "Blossom"). Solar was actually the 1st Mamamoo member to go solo (and the 1st artist from a 3rd generation gg to have a solo concert), but her solo album project, Solar's Emotions, was a series of covers, from songs that meant a great deal to her. All have been rearranged for her. There were several parts to this project, basically from 2015 to 2018, and resulting into the Blossom concert last year.

As for her original solo works, so far she wrote and composed "Star Wind Flower Sun" (you can find her solo version on YT) and in Mamamoo's latest album, Blue;S, "Hello". She also wrote a song called "Big Booty" (yeah...), which she sang at her solo concert.
But, yeah, I hope she gets her own original solo album someday. In the meantime, Solar's Emotions is still one of the most soothing and beautiful albums I own and I really recommend it :)

Yeah, but it would be great to see something of her creation with the help of the company, that she can promote during music show competitions like other solo artists do. Solar can put on a show and I think she should get an even bigger spotlight for the world to see. ^_^

This show is basically a show that performs remakes of past hits that competing in its prime time, watched by the original singers. And boi how I looove the encounter between Solar and Lee Jae Young. LJY was so happy after heard that Mamamoo Solar will be the one who will do remake of her song. She even decided to return to the stage after 22 yrs knowing that.
It got me when LYJ shed tears. Also embraced Solar tightly be it after rehearsal and actual performance whispering, "as expected my choice was not wrong" "thank you for performing my song so well"
Glad Solar got to experience this level of appreciation, it's like a breather apart from saturated kpop idol competition that can be exhausting & superficial sometimes...

@@aliciakoh3920 Kinda. But it invited more original singers. They made them compete each other again with the remakes. Basically the show has a concept "rewriting the chart". In the end Solar managed to be the new challenger to dethrone the #1 song with this remake

솔라 저음 너무 좋다ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 성량도 장난 아니고 음역대도 넓어서 고음을 주로 하지만 저음도 고음 못지 않게 너무 좋다. 뱉어 에서도 도입부 저음 파트가 너무 좋던데 앞으로 저음 파트도 많이 해줬으면 좋겠다🤭🤭
Solar's low-pitched tone is so awesome. She is good at singing high-pitched sound but I think she's good at singing low-pitched sound, too. Her low note is so fascinating.
I really wanna say that her breath control is really really impressive. With all this moving around and dancing she still sang so so goof live, you wouldn't even notice the difference.

i have literally never seen another idol adjust their voice colour based on the vibe of ANY song they take on as perfectly as yongsun. (absolutely no hate to anyone, i have just never seen anyone come close to the way she does it so far.)
Kim Yongsun is truly a definition of a queen, a goddess, and a legend. her voice is so damn stable and uniquely AMAZING. of course the rest of mamamoo is unique and extremely amazing as well and i love them SO much!!
