Thanks for the review! Nice to watch a review of the product that has withstood the real world test of actually being used for a couple of seasons. Thanks again for your recommendations, I bought a Liquid 3-pack for an Echo Lago 10 foot 7 weight stillwater outfit for the upcoming season.
Rowan, thanks for the video. I have been flyfishing for 33 years now, bought the 5+ 3 pack, and I could not determine how to remove the spool until I watched your video. You think Lamson would have at least put a small booklet in the reel case to explain. But thanks again for the review.
@@intoflyfishing no I haven't seen those 🤔 thank you I'll have do look into them. Edit:nice looking reels! From their page “ If you’ve ever walked down Main Street in Creede, Colorado with the sun setting over the Rocky Mountains, you’ve gotten a glimpse of a time gone by, still echoing across ancient saloons and general stores.“ I'm intrigued because I've done exactly that 😂 fish the rio grande in Creede all the time. It's about 1.5 hours from me.
For an eight weight would you go with the 6/7/8 or the 8/9/10 model? Just asking because I just got an 8wt st criox avid that I need a reel for and can’t decide.
Rowan, thanks for this video, it is useful. Could you share with us some of the flies that you have found successful for carp? I am starting to fly fish for carp, I only have floating bread and dog biscuit imitations. I want to get some deep water carp flies. Thanks.

Helluva well done in depth review on all relevant specs and experiences.
I've had a Liquid Size 2 (+/- 5wt) for several years. My fishing has been limited to bass, bluegills, and carp. It does the job for me.
Good to know, thanks!

Have you tried putting a piece of silicone tubing over the handle for a wider, less slippy grip? Thank you, because your video helped!
A great informative video. Great content and great delivery. I look forward to seeing more.
Awesome thanks!
Ordering the 2/3/4 wt for my moonshine 3wt drifter can't wait.
Awesome! Have you checked out Moonshine's new Creede Reel lineup as well? Pretty sick reels too

@@mattabbott4782 probably the 8/9/10 that way it wont be under powered in any way,and i could use it for salmon and pike.
Excelente video y análisis amigo. Saludos desde la Patagonia Chilena!.
what rods do you match it with for salt and freash
Could go nice with an R8 of either
To remove the spool, push with your thumbs at the back , push the spool out. This the correct way.
Good tip thanks
Best reel ever!
Whats the Lamson smoke like, thinking of one.
Looks like a much sexier color to me. I'd go with smoke over the black but it's a preference thing
My lamen liquid is less than a year old and all of a sudden the spool while fishing kept falling out???
I’ve never heard of that. Under a year and Lamson should replace it.
what rod you have it on in the video? Link to the rod if you don't mind. TIA
What do you think about the Lamson remix hd

which size Liquid are you using?
Looks like 3.5 7-8 weight m8
nice video! keep going. very useful
Thanks!
You use it to shovel gravel?..lol... who puts a nice reel on the gravel?
Haha. I end up shoveling with mine sometimes. Or at least it looks like it when I go to leave the stream
@@intoflyfishing That's why it looks like scrap aluminum 😂
@@perrykomick9478 hahah. Rowan's Liquid is old as the dirt he shovels with it 😆
