They all seem like lovely apps, but it would be great to know which options in them are free and which are behind pay wall, and also to mention the price
You missed Trip Advisor AI feature, this really gave me ideas and got me started. I use Trip Advisor for Day to Day things, and Trip It for my larger airlines in and out of a country.
And I would add trains and other public transport. As a traveler primarily in Europe and the UK, these are my primary modes of transportation. I am trying now to plan a trip from Amsterdam to the UK by ferry, then train, and trying to find a better way than my own crude spreadsheet. I am leaning toward Travel Mapper since it seems the most flexible and I don't mind the spreadsheet approach. I've also been attempting to use Wanderlog, but I am not impressed. I find the phone app quite confusing.
does wanderlog have a feature to see the whole itinerary without having to scroll up and down- something similar to a month calendar or the travel planner spreadsheet?
Can you let us know the cost? I appreciate the promo for Travel Mapper and letting us know the features, but I can't find the info on how much it costs anywhere. I shouldn't have to install anything to find out the pricing. This makes it seem so sketchy. It would be helpful to have transparency and let us know the cost outright so we can compare. Otherwise, it's hard to trust such a company.
It's a little insincere to not disclouse that you are the creator of "Travel Mapper". Also disappointing to see the price has doubled in a year. Shame as it looks like an interesting tool.
After watching tons of review on travel tools, your video is the best of all. Very informative. Thank you.
This was super helpful - really appreciate the level of detail!!
Great job comparing top travel apps with details of features. Now I know which one will work best for me.

would like to add TrainPal. They offer really good prices. I personally use it a lot.

So helpful! Thank you for making this excellent resource.
Thanks for the review, this will help me find a suitable planner for my trip!
are there any travel apps listed here that can import the data into the calendar, even if just the start and end?
Great review and summary. Thank you for doing this.
Which app can incorporate roads, flights and a cruise?

I don't think so. There is a "compressed" view though that you can toggle.
Thanks, very helpful 🙏
Super
