For 15 years, Tad (real name) started his dancing from high school, and currently works at On One Studios, as a dance mentor and digital marketer. Through the introduction of Wonder Girls, Big Bang, and SNSD, he started his K-Pop journey by learning the Hallyu history, understanding the idol creation process, and studying its globally trending presence for the past decade. With the wisdom he's accumulated, Tad aspires to continue learning, to share his worlds from Dance & K-Pop, and to help & lead others to be at their best.

There's definitely a lot of story telling happening in the dance. That kick by SuA happens in other choreos too.

One of my fav Easter egg (not sure if I should call it that but..) in the MV is at 1:29 timestamp (or 3:49 within this video) where Handong is throwing the paper aeroplane and SuA and Siyeon is in the bottom right window looking up... one of those you blink and you miss it scene but once you see it, you cannot help but keep noticing it again and again
The first trilogy of the Nightmare series was released in the first half of 2017. The commercial success didn't meet expectations, Dreamcatcher will appear on TV show MixNine. The follow-up song, YOU AND I, will not be released until May 2018.
In the second half of the Nightmare series, Dreamcatcher has a solid originality.
Stolen innocence, how interesting but adequate choice of words, I prefer the ballad version of this song because it makes it feel even more sad or emotional, but that does not mean that I don't like the original, and I also needed to see many times the video to realize everything that happens lol, and in the dance version of course Sua's kick is not seen on camera

Actually according to storyline in nightmare series, Fly High storyline is supposed to be before Chase Me. You actually figure it out at 7:56. Fly High is the beginning story for dreamcatcher nightmare series.
Aside from the waacking, their smooth spins are dang crazyyy. Also, there are many theories for their lore but Fly High is generally on the beginning part of the story. It really feels light and innocent at the start, but becomes darker and sadder. It is brighter than the previous 2 songs, but not really a happy one 😆

This video was filmed by Sunny Visual Production who will go on to do all of their title track videos from here on out except for Piri which was Zanybros.
My very brief take on these first three is that in Fly High Yoohyeon burns the spider, which actually happens at the beginning of the video but they cut away and then show it later, and that causes a curse to be cast on the all the members, slowly turning them into nightmares. You can see Dami, Jiu, and Gahyeon try to fight it but at the end Jiu has no choice but to trap them inside the boarding house to keep the evil from getting out.
Years later, in Chase Me, a person who knows about the supernatural activity of this boarding house, which now is a hotel?, has come to investigate and naturally has nightmares due to his close proximity to Dreamcatcher. At the end, he finally finds the room that the girls have been trying to hide from him the whole time, the one that contains their portrait which they are strongly attached to.
In Good Night, we are introduced to a special book that seems to have the ability to bind the girls as it appears the man's intent was to capture them all along. One by one, using the book, the man captures them in the nightmare they represent: Gahyeon = the fear of falling, Sua = the fear of being restrained. But, before he can capture them all, Dami manages to break through the barrier between the dream world and the real world and steal the book that's giving him power. She burns the pages that were used against the members which frees them and then, I think, they use the power of the book to trade places with the man. Trapping him in the dream world and they are finally free from the dream world....until You & I.....

You getting so emotional made me see the MV in a different way even if I already watched it multiple times and have read many explanation videos. For the info, the MV was filmed in France (just stating this because I'm French lol)!
"Fly High" was indeed brighter and the members said it was also the first time they were "allowed" to smile during the performances. It is also probably why it is still JiU and Yoohyeon favorite title track. It is a bit a shame they have never released a dance practice video (dunno why) because the dance video is not showing some of their great moves like the kick by SuA during the whacking section (thanks for the nice note btw). And yes Siyeon is top tier vocal in THE WORLD (no no no I'm not biased)!

For the cliffside scene in the beginning I thought they were shooting in Pacifica, CA. But I was TOTALLY wrong, haha. Thanks for the comment!

To be more specific, the sceneries with the cliffside was in Etretat (North of France near the sea) and the school/mansion and forest were shot at the Château de Janvry (near Paris). They are innocent schoolgirls at the beginning, but after Dami finds the spellbook (seen in Good Night) in the library they form a coven and experiment with dark magic which begins to corrupt them and strengthen their dark sides (their mirror images). Yoohyeon burns the spider Jiu captured which catches the attention of an ancient guardian spirit that resides in the old chateau. She is the guardian spirit of spiders and she curses the girls to exist forever somewhere between life and death as spirits of nightmare who bring bad dreams to mortals. The butterflies that burn away around Jiu symbolize the loss of their innocence and their souls. At the end, Jiu runs and closes the gate to the school trapping them inside. Jiu the leader and least corrupted is strong enough to want to prevent them from wreaking havoc on the mortal world. Years later after the school has been converted into a hotel and abandoned because it's haunted, the ghost hunter shows up to investigate. His actions allow the girls to escape into the world where they continue to mess with people through photography. However, they concentrate on trying to free Yoohyeon from the curse and that is the basis of You and I.

Fly High is a prequel and your feels is on point..basically this video tells us the story on how they became NIGHTMARES..
They have pre-debut/debut era dance practice videos (01 - 04) where they danced to other songs with their choreo (except for the 04 which was a dance cover of bang bang bang). You can see them in different vibes!

In the music video Yoohyeon burns the spider that Jiu had caught with a magnifying glass, I'm not spoiling the entire story but from here on out keep an eye out for details in the MV's regarding spiders... thats where it all starts.
Also keep an eye out for that photograph of them thats in beige, it shows up alot

why did you hear more bright sound in this song than the other 2 songs before? cuz in this song mostly using Major chords which is sounds brighter. On the other side, Chase Me and Good Night mostly using minor chords, which seems darker
You're probably right on that haha. I'm not entirely familiar with music theory, but through observation of instrumentation, the visual aspects of the MV, and the dancing kinda tell me that.
