Not to completely spoil the fun but I’m going to, the game has a dynamic ost so it purposefully has the music respond in accordance to in game events. Both modern DOOM games do it too. Hope that doesn’t ruin it too much but also might give an appreciation to games that have dynamic OST’s

Because Revengeance Perfect Parry to what I've read wasn't balanced properly on release, or that it's just done correctly because it's basically a reward of an attack. Think of a Royal Guard from Devil May Cry. Instead of just blocking you're able to hit them with a high damaging attack by opening them up via parrying.
Have a very big question about your damage to a Sam, cuz im trying to replicate your run, and after 1 normal attack with ripper mode and 1 perfect parry with ripper mode aswell his health in my case always drops to 42.9% but in you case its somehow goes to 45%, can you please explain, dont think its the upgrades, because our normal attacks with ripper mode do exactly same 1.1% damage in begging.
I used a fully upgraded murasama and the red custom body. Also, don't use ripper mode, it doesn't speed the run up since you still need two parries and it also messes everything up. During the first parry, spam defensive offense at the same time so that you hit Sam once. After hitting him once he should be at 45% health. Hit him again during the second parry using the same strategy, you can also hit him more than once but its not needed. Good luck on your runs!
Now without ripper mode my attack only does 46,6% so even with 1 def-off hit his hp bar only drops to 53%, in order to set him into 45% I need to deal 8,4% damage at the start and that’s not even close to 20 sec time, I’m in dead end, and advices?
@@konekotoro8852 Weird, are you sure you have the right body selected? It should say "Custom Body (Red)" in the shop. It's unlockable by completing at least 30% of VR missions with a bronze score or better.
Hey uhh, I've been practicing Perfect Parrying for a little bit now and I've tried it on bosses a lot and for some reason I can never seem to dish out THAT much damage, it's always around 5-8% of the bosses health, I have a fully upgraded Murasama and I don't know what I'm doing wrong, does anybody have an answer? Because I sure don't.
Sam is in phase 2 from about 65% health to 45%, and during that time if he still has his sword attacks wont do as much damage. However, by using a maxed-out Murasama, the red custom body, and one defensive offense hit, you can perfectly line things up to hit him out of phase 2 and then the second parry will do the same amount of damage as the first.
Damn. I think my best time was like 20 seconds? Once you've fought him a lot, he goes down shockingly fast. I distinctly remember landing the counter and my jaw hitting the floor because of how much damage it did.

Parries only deal this much damage on Revengeance, so make sure you are playing on Revengeance difficulty.

During his “would be” second phase between around 60%-40%, he has a huge damage reduction if you did not knock out his sword, which might be the issue

You just have to parry at the last possible second, it takes a while to get the hang of it but eventually you can do it consistently.
