I would remove it tbh and put a small one kinda like the ones from the mustamg ecobooet conbertible little sutle im not a fan of spoilers or wings the corvette looks good without it

@@jcherrax the wing actually helps the zr1 a lot it helps it actually get downforce and stick the rear down more for traction

@@carguy0389 just to elaborate a lil in case u wanted to know more more, its essentially the equivalent of today's camaro ss. They had tht name because of a racing series I believe and they wanted to use tht as a naming scheme to helped with sales a bit, but because of the gas crisis that was happening they were exceptionally.. slow lol. They look good and sound good but dont go good stock, with tht being said you can find them pretty cheap if you're looking for a project car :)
Edit: I looked it up after this to get more clarification: "... was an optional add-on package for the z28 camaro"

The zr1 is CLEARLY FASTER. The owner of the GT500 is a very cool nice guy that can drive his whip properly(unlike most people). He said in mikes video he didn't know who was quicker but we all know who's quicker. GT500 has dual clutch and e85 capable 2 HUGE advantages. Both great cars and excellent owners.
I 100% agree with you except for the fact that the dual clutch transmission isn't an advantage against the 8 speed auto due to the fact that the 8 speed shifts faster than the dual clutch and even faster than PDK confirmed by Chevy.
@@VoidScorpius I hate to say it bud, but the dct is much faster at shifting than the 8 speed auto, that's why the new c8 has the dct and not the old 8 speed

Anyone can build a BOMB that will lay down a few good passes and hold together long enough to beat this ZR1. This car however is rock solid reliable and is driven everywhere and anywhere ON PUMP GAS without the slightest hesitation from Mike. There is nothing worse than losing the confidence in your car. Some of you know what I'm talking about. When that happens......that's it......all the fun is gone, you end up returning the car to stock out of frustration and practically give it away. Well that's definitely not the case here! Hats off to GM and the boys at LMR!!

Have to say after following this car for a while l am pretty blown away by its performance. Would love to see it perform against some teslas and maybe a bugatti, win lose or draw it would be fasinating.
Lots of races that might have only been won because its an auto vs the sticks!

Hey RPM motorsports Why does it seem that Your cars put a great dyno number down but Don't always perform to the dyno number On Race day just wondering.
J Deubel the dyno and real world are different. Faster proms and lmr cars always out perform the numbers because they focus on drivability and power under the curve not being a dyno Queen.

Will they ever do a flex fuel kit for Mike's car? That thing on e85 would never lose a run with good traction of course. If/when i get a GM toy I'll be coming to you guys. But I'm in a super slow tdi passat right now
The c7 zr1 isn't flex fuel compatible

Vegas Driver Right now the E99 ECM will not accept flex fuel sensor...... maybe in the future...👀

I think the owner of car mentioned he can go to a smaller pulley and race gas to make 1k at the wheels vs his 840-860 now.

Whoever is driving the Ford GT you could count seconds between his Gear change If he could properly power shaft it would have been a better race with the ZR1 probly edge it out but that wing on the ZR1 deathly 😖 Above 130 So the cars making good power.

Horsepower is just a guide. For example, driver,
engine builders craftsmanship, The right choice of engine parts, Tires, suspension, etc. 2+2=?
If you make more power earlier on you're going to get the jump on the other guy and so it's not just who makes more power it's where all you make the power in the rev range
