Yeah. I thought the normal one would be just to stand normally and try to dance, and I didn't know it would be wrong, and I'm not sure I would ask for the right way to dance with them. So this is very helpful

Totally unrelated but this reminds me of my highschool dance junior year. There was a girl with some disease that made her almost quadrapalegic, I'm not sure what its called but she couldn't walk and could barely move her arms. So I offered to dance with her because I didn't want her to feel left out (she was off by herself and looked sad while watching others have fun). I picked her up princess style out of her wheel chair. We took pictures together and I slow danced with her in my arms. Amazing girl man, she lit up like the night sky when we were spinning on the dance floor. I hope she's doing alright.
This brought back memories of people trying to dance with me that are giants and I’m short. My first ever dance a guy asked me to dance and he was really small so he literally hunched over exactly like Peet did in the first one. I was so weirded out 😂

There was a couple at my high school, she was 4 feet tall and he was 6 feet tall. At school dances, she would climb the stairs up onto the stage, and he would stay down on the dance floor, and then they would dance along the edge with her on the stage and him on the floor. It brought them both to the same height!
Had a friend at work who was about 4'2" tall . She married a wonderful man who was about 6'2" tall. He danced with her on his knees for their wedding dance. Their Joy was beautiful and as they laughed with Love , everyone at their reception Laughed with joy and love for them. Thanks for sharing this mother/son dance which reminded me of this great couple I haven't seen for decades since I moved away. Namaste. Carpe Diem.

This reminds me of my 21st when my 6 ft 2 friend danced with my 4 ft 11 mom on his knees in a tux because he had just come from a wedding 😂. One of my fave memories.

I am just stand up and I know someone who is short and she was always wanting help dancing. When you respect the people you know who are not as tall you, you are doing a great deed respecting them by helping them while acknowledging them as an equal. that's why I love most of the videos where you show how to fit in with your family and where you show what are some things that you should know and remember to help people who need the help.
