Oh, I loved these episodes. I learned English with them back in Albania. Now I’m a professor of English in the United States but I always remember so fondly the first sentences I practiced with Walter and Connie. I wish I still had some of the notebooks where I wrote everything down. Bless you for posting.

I love the world (or universe) of language learning. It's so simple, so innocent. And this is one where they created entertaining stories. I used to watch it in Syria while I was 10 or 12 (and then it was already old). I learned a lot from it, and I liked Walter and Connie with their carefree attitude. They seemed like a perfect couple, especially in how they tolerated each other's silliness.

I learned the basics of English thanks to this series, between 1967 and 1975, when it was broadcast on Italian television. Thank you for posting a memory that is so dear to my heart. If you have more episodes, please keep them coming :-)

Walter and Connie were also on the Dutch tv. As was The Seventh Key with Susan and Alan, The Green Umbrella with Alan and Betty and The Mystery on the Moor with Alan and Judy.

Omg I really found it. I can't believe it. Learning English with Walter and Connie. I remember it in German Television. I was around 8 years old when I saw it in the beginning 60s. Some years later I had English language in school and I always remembered Walter and Connie. Thank you for bringing that.

What pleasant memories Robot 5 brings me!
I started learning English with these movies when I was 16 years old.
I would like to know where I can find the rest of the chapters.
I will appreciate if you can help me find them.

No wonder that Ionesco - as is well known, one of the leading exponents of the "theatre of the absurd" - was inspired by foreign language courses for his plays.
