It's true, the sound is very pleasing to hear, I love it myself! And you can belief the arrangement is one of the best you can get for busker organ - a brilliant feat of Hiddo van Os!
Is this a John Smith Universal Organ? It has a beautiful sound!!! Wow!!! Love this! I am considering building a John Smith Universal. What would you recommend?
Hi, First of, fantastic job! I've been restoring pre 1900 cuckoo clocks, and have researched navigational instruments used pre 1500's back-staff, cross-staff etc. I think I'm ready to take on this task. What of the three, Busker, Senior 20 and Universal are there more selections of music rolls? I'm thinking of the Senior 20. is it better sound wise then the Busker?
Hello Mike, I'm sorry, that is not a John Smith... and so I can not give you advice. Maybe 'organfandan' can help you. In my opinion he plays the most melodious sounding JSuO on youtube.
I really love this instrument playing "Crazy Rhythm," but I honestly can't listen to the tune with a straight face. I keep picturing Steve Martin dancing to it in "The Jerk".
Hiddo van Os is one of my favorite composers. Sounds wonderful.
Such a beautiful instrument with a great tone, well done!

What a nice warm sounding organ! The first 20 note with that "French" touch. Wonderful! Is there a website for these organs? Keep up the good work!
I love that color you cant miss it
Many thanks for your compliment! I'm very proud you like the sound. Yep, there is a website for this organ. And the next one is under construction.
SUPERBE....merci
There are 20 pipes Stopped Diapason 8' and 13 pipes open Flute 4' (the Flute can be operated by a little knob).
Yes, it is the usual 20 note Carl-Frei-scale as used by Stüber, Raffin, Deleika...
Making the most of the 20-note scale ...
Thanks for the info :)
