This is a riot. I'm watching and I'm like OMGdnz - this guy is just like me! I always spill and make a mess. Now I know exactly what not to do. Thank you for positing this Brian! Seriousy.
If this messy application can make an improvement, think how much better you will do using a stiff bristle brush with a metal handle (sold in hobby stores). Dripping all over the place is never necessary. And keeping your fingers as clean as possible is always recommended.
Nice, except you instead of struggling to put the denim backing with your fingers, a Popsicle stick to run the fabric under the leather would've taken half the time I think.
Lol how did u get through the whole video with all that white dried up glue on your fingers and hands ? Would have needed a wash cloth to wipe down after using it 🤣
My first bottle became ROCK SOLID prior to opening or using after being on the shelf for a few months. Contacted the company, they were not interested ini standing behind their own products. I would NOT recommend.

Glad you are entertained.
I agree! I love how it makes me feel "Hey, I fumble and spill all the time too!"
a very clean and neat way to precisely apply the glue where you need it
did we watch the same video of him dumping adhesive ???
I love this! I am a twenty something female, only now learning handy work, and this makes me feel "Hey, I fumble and spill all the time too!"
So tear mender does do its job nice! I have a couple of rips on my recliner and this might help
I would not have thought to put duct tape to hold it in place while drying. Much appreciated. I think I'll buy some on amazon for my torn car seat.
Duct tape is not a good to use

Clumsy and messy..

Perfect example of "He who can, does; he who cannot, teaches."
This is a product review; not a tutorial.
Teachers rule the world
wtf..
Is this the gag reel?
How did this hold up after it dried completely. .and using the car seat for a while? Just wanting an update on the Tear Mender
It has held up fine. I have new rips in other places that need fixed, but the places that I patched with the denim are holding strong.
Thank you! It worked for me.
why do you need the denim? Nice and neat? OMG He should cut the seat again.
Joe Clements the denim is strong and won't tear. Gluing the leather to the denim holds it in place and prevents the seat from ripping any further.

You didn't happen to use any on that Band-Aid did ya? ......lol

LMFAO When in doubt, pour away !!! : )
Perhaps you should have used a nearly identical color to the seat for the backer cloth rather than dark blue denim. You get an F- for neatness.....
Blue denim is ubiquitous (worn out jeans). You can't see the jeans through the leather seat.
Neatness want my goal. Preventing further rips was and it achieved that goal.
These bottles come with applicator tips…
I realized that AFTER I made that video
Brother haven't you ever heard a little dab will do?
Yeah. I made that video before I realized that the bottle cap had a dispensing nozzle.
Glued everything but the tear LOL
It might not look nice but the tear never got any bigger so Tear Mender did its job.. Sold that car a few months ago.
@@wbdill it’s ok man that stuff is really hard to use!
WHAT? HOW SHABBY!
❤ good
Mr. Dill is a clutz.
What a Dill.
LOL
What a hack job!!!...lol
It did what I needed it to do - namely to prevent further tearing of the seat.
