Please explain further about how to make the LEFT boot. I made the sole and turned it upside down, but the former is only for a right boot. Am I missing something? Thank you for any information.

yes. lift the top up off of the sole, pull out the former, then lay the top back down on top of the sole and adhere with a small amount of water
