Too much talking. Get to the point on how to use.

Found this out via the good people on Facebook. If you are testing your loop you only set it to .3 bars (.35 tops). They linked the instructions and it says it plain as day

Thank you you're a life saver! I was confused why my tubes were blowing out when I set it inbetween the Green zone and just saw your comment. Funnily enough, their manual also says 0.3bar for a loop but in their own video it's 0.5bar+? Bit odd...

@@RipJawsX95 yeah, I posted on the ekwb fan page and they said that video throws a lot of people off (myself included) I went up to .5 just to be sure but I've had my loop for a month with zero leaks. So glad it helped you!

Tip.... use a duster with a lot of soft feathers and if you have a slow leak you can see movement of your duster. This will help narrow down where the leak could be coming from.

I did both my first time lol I bought this great product, tested it under pressure for 24 hrs bc why not, then I filled the loop let it run for another 24 hrs and it was solid. Excessive ik but better safe then sorry with a 3k plus system.

I plan on buying the leak tester for my next build simply because it's probably not so stressful testing this way, as you don't need to keep an eye on your system potentially leaking coolant all over the place.

Sorry but this leak tester is not working: It leaks itself after a few hours. You can test that easily closing the end of the leak tester, let it run for 3 to 4 hours and it will slowly start leaking. Hence a test over 1 or 2 days is impossible.

When you say you test for a little longer than 15mins how long do you normally test? I found that after an hour or more, the leak tester itself will leak slowly. I've tested by simply capping the end w/ a stop fitting on the tester and isolated it to the leaker itself. I emailed EK and they said that's normal, their tester will slowly leak over a long time...

I see, thank you for this. I pressured my loop to 0.75 bars at 4am and by midday, 8 hours later, the pressure gauge shows 0.7 bars. I am sure that the leak is from the EK tester and now you've confirmed it 🙂
But WHY EK! WHY?!? Shouldn't you put it in writing clearly on your website or manual somewhere? Because my retail EK tester came with ZERO instructions!

You should've demonstrated how it's being used, not show pictures of the standalone product.

Note to anyone watching this. You should NEVER go above 0.5 bar. Any water loop should never be under that much pressure. Its not a bottle rocket.

The green isn't the safe zone. Read the manual next time before making a video. Embarrassing.

Bruh, read the manual, max for your loop is like .3 bar..

whats the point of liquid cooling when noctua has already proven to be able to beat liquid cooling?

Hi I have a question I’m building my first custom water pc I have the ekwb distro plate as well as an ek tester it seems I have a slow leak but it’s coming from what they call the gpu inelt hope. At the bottom left. All my other connections seem to work fine it’s just that particular area where I’m having trouble because my distro plate has a motor back there I can see where air would get through. My question to you is should there not be any leaks of any kind?

Sure, but this has been working perfectly for me and I like the way it’s designed. Have you built one yourself?
