Here in NH,gold is not abundant, will order geo, maps for Sullivan County, where I am, I have a good feeling that the tributary, little sugar river might have gold .just a gut feeling.
Thank you for the excellent tutorial! I tried reading the instructions that came with my detector but I missed hearing the sounds as well as coordination with the movements and controls. A+ Professor!
Thank you Chris, just purchased this detector. Being new to the world of detecting the manual was very confusing. I think Fisher should have a link to this video! Thank you for sharing your knowledge sir.
The only thing a tad confusing is around 20:40 when you sweep over the magnetite and refer to it as an "iron mineral" (hot rock), which shows up on the arc display on the far right and than say "now we are going to go over the iron target", which shows up on the far left of the arc display. When would two "iron targets" show up on opposite sides of the arc display (I'm guessing that Magnetite is not PURE iron, but merely partial iron ? Great video, regardless and thanks for taking the time to explain.
Magnetite is an iron mineral. It is a chemical combination of iron and oxygen. It is not metallic iron. Hot rocks are often rocks with a greater content of iron minerals than the surrounding soil. Metallic iron in the ground is almost always some form of trash left by humans.
Cool. I didn't know that about comparing the two scales. Thank you. Oh btw I can manually adjust my gold bug pro. I ground grab and periodically fine adjust it with the plus and minus buttons as I detect.
Great videos as always. Informative and thorough. I own a Gold Bug 2 and a GM1000. Both are great machines. I currently gold hunt in Colombia, South America. I switch between both machines. Both work great on .10 gram and up nuggets. When are you going to have a Gold Bug 2 tutorial?
Well done Chris...I make a semi living out of prospecting here in Western Australia. I mainly use a gpx4500, sdc2300 and also own a gold bug pro......you have probably helped me find more gold in trashy areas with the gold bug and I thank you. Would like to ask you if you know of anybody who sells a SMALL anti interference coil or salt coil as we call them here. Coiltek sell them but too large for my purpose.Subscribed.
Hi Chris Ralph Thank you very much for teaching me how to handle the detector.! I greet and write from Cordoba, Argentina I wanted to ask you about the limitations of this detector, how much do the nuggets we can hunt weigh and at what depth do they detect them, what is their limit in this sense, weight and depth of the nuggets? I congratulate and greet you again for being so precise and detailed in the explanation! sorry my english is translated from spanish! I hope you can understand what I'm saying Thank you.!
Thanks for the great video. Why are there so many lead bullets, buck shot and brass shells near gold mines? It's 80% of what I dig up in the CA high desert!
@@ChrisRalphOk thats what i thought. Its just that Ive never seen or heard anyone shooting, but Im finding lots of bullets even out in the middle of nowhere in the desert. Unbelievable! Thanks!
Hello Chris and thanks for the helpful video. Perhaps you can do a video on hot rocks. I am lucky to have located an old, small copper outcropping/mine here in Arizona that shows the beginning of being worked. My Gold Bug 2 detector occasionally finds some very nice specimens in the ore/dump piles AND the bedrock; A good metal signal sounds even in discrimination mode. The rock generally is heavy and blue (almost turquoise) and the rocks that "ring out" are heavy with bright silver material. I keep those specimens but there is no longer an assayer in our area. Maybe you could recommend an assayer also. Thanks, Tom.
Actually a hot rock video is a great idea. I am putting it on my list. I got a whole schedule of stuff a I plan to do, but I will do one this summer in the next month or two. I will cover hot rocks of all various sorts, plus hot spots in the ground and how to deal with them (at least as best as one can). Thanks! I use as my assayer - ALS Global - Geochemistry Analytical Lab in Reno, Nevada. They will accept samples by mail. I have no idea what you mineral is, but just a a total guess, there is a copper mineral called Cuprite that is electrically conductive and although it is deep red, on weathered surfaces it will often be a silver -gray color. It is also dense and heavy. Honestly there is nothing you can do with it other than dig the target and toss it aside when you see what it is. It conducts electricity like metal - I call it metal detector Kryptonite. It often does contain some gold and silver but is of a nature that the values would be really difficult to extract.
@@ChrisRalph Thank you for the nice reply. After further research I agree with you on the Cuprite …. although not red but bright silver and gray. You know your stuff! Thanks again, Tom.
If you are fisher gold bug pro users , you will understanding the video. My fisher gold bug pro found me 1.5 g nugget at my first hunt with it. Love the machine , I have two metal detectors , but fisher gold bug pro is the machine I do trust.
Thanks for the great instructions! But I'm wondering about the usage of lead instead of the gold we're all looking for. What differences will manifest through the metal detector? Why not use a gold nugget?
Lead is a similar target to gold. No exactly the same, but very similar. If I loose a chunk of lead in the field, no problem. If I lose a nice nugget, its a problem.
Great informative video so thanks! New sub here. Heading out tomorrow to use it for the first time as we are allowed out - excited to see how it goes especially now I know how to use it!!
Hi chris, I am from Bangalore, India. I have watched all your videos and am amazed at the knowledge you have freely shared. Most dont. Thank you very much for being the guru that you are .🙏 Here we have a very highly mineralised ground condition and plenty of iron, I am confused about whether to buy a gold bug pro or a gold bug 2. I greatly appreciate your advice on which is best suited for indian conditions .... 🙏
@@ChrisRalph Awesome thanks. Sounds like the Gold Bug could be used in the same way you presented using the Pro? Or did you use some of these features in the demonstration?
Thanks a million! I've just started my research on gold metal detectors and wow, for a first timer you can get lost in all the wrong things...but this has been hugely helpful. I'm still trying to decide whether to go with the Gold Bug Pro or Gold Bug 2. I actually really like that display that just tells you the probability of it being Iron. If you can find a buck shot, then its probably good enough to make it meaningful enough to me. What would you say the biggest relevant trade offs are with the Gold Bug 2? I'm guessing size and depth? Do you know is there any data anywhere on "size vs depth" for GB Pro vs GB II? Or from your experience? That would be the main thing I'd want to know. Unfortunately the marketing info from Fisher is all about features rather than capabilities. Thanks again!!!
Okay, I just ordered your book. Hopefully I will be able to fly my Cessna 150 to Alaska this summer, 2022, and prospect for gold and get in some fishing. BTW what sort of camera and sound equipment do you use? Thanks
Yesterday I was metal detecting for antique trinkets and dug up a good piece of smoky quartz crystal, a herkimer and reg quartz came from my yard, is this a strong hint to other more valuable treasure?
Thanks Chris, I love your videos they are always informitive. If I had the GB Pro with the small round gold coil can I still find relicks and coins with that coil or do I need to purchase the bigger coil as well? Thanks for any advice you have..Tim
It is a decision you must make for yourself. I do not know your experience finding gold, how much money you have, what type of gold deposits you might work, and many other factors. You must seek knowledge, put all that together and decide for yourself. Glad you enjoyed the video.
@@ChrisRalph sir im just recently graduated guy ,,, i had no experience in golf or i never ever seen any 1 in my country have metal detector,,, I just wana seach gold im learning many things from you and RUclips

Gr8 video, I'm trying to decide between the GB or the nokta makro anfibio multi frequency. The Makro has a 20khz frequency with all metal mode and a 4x7 dd sniper coil. It also has auto ground balance, tracking or manual. It really looks like a good detector for what you get for the money. It also has a iron volume.
Hi Chris, thank you for all your helpful videos. You got me excited and recently bought my very first gold detector the Gold Bug Pro on your advice. I'm very happy with it although I haven't found any good yet, just rust lol. However, I have one question, something I ran into yesterday; I ground balanced my detector, but wherever I did this (same location, different spots) I constantly had 3 to 5 bars popping up. It never went lower than 2-3 bars, no matter where i scanned the area. Often I got 5 bars, but never something showed on the top arch, to indicate what mineral it was. It stayed blank all the time. My detector works fine in all other areas, the way you shows in your video. However, not in the location i was yesterday. (Nevada desert route 164 if that matters). I was close to (and underneath) powerlines, but i don't think they will interfear with the detector, correct? What could have caused this weird behavior of my detector?
Hey Chris, thanks for this informative video. I have a Gold Bug 2, and I'm beginning to like the Pro. The tones are much more definitive compared to the Bug 2, plus the display is more informative. This must be Fisher's competitive response the Minelab Equinox. Might consider buying one ! 🤠
The GB Pro came out years before the Equinox - something like 2012. Its not a new detector. While it is a sensitive detector, its not as sensitive as the GB2.The old GB2 is all by ear, no visual display. I am going to do a video on the gold Bug 2 one of these days. I will be at this year's Pomona GPAA show. Hope to see you there.
The GB2 has found more gold than any other detector combined period. Like Chris said, it’s all about listening what the detector is telling you. The most important thing is know your machine inside out, keep coil low to the ground, balanced and dig every target.
@@ChrisRalph im looking at gold bullion (inside a bunker), but we just want to make an estimate of depth from top soil. hope this machine can help answer that. thanks again
Really appreciate the information you put into this video! It definitely helped me out alot. I don't remember you mentioning it in the video but is there a set of headphones you would recommend for the GB pro? Thanks
i am thinking about getting the gold bug pro. i am starting out and i have three quartz veins in my yard. how small does most detectors pick up.i live in south carolina
Size and depth are both factors. The smallest gold is seen only at the shallowest depth. Bigger gold can be seen at deeper depths. I did a whole video on this issue - see: ruclips.net/video/SD3cSkeikto/видео.html
I would like to read your book but I'm Italian and I don't understand English...I could use a pdf copy and with a translator finally read well. thanks for his video i just bought a gold bug (chinese copy) and i think his videos will help me a lot, i live in the philippines and i see it's a good area for gold hunting... what do you think? do you have any suggestions? thanks a lot greetings Roberto
There are loads of different types of metal detectors at all sorts of price ranges from a few hundreds to nearly $10,000 in price. The GB2 is more sensitive than the GB Pro, but more sensitive to hot rocks too. Still, choosing the best metal detector for you is something that you need to consider for yourself - your budget, what you want to do with your detector, etc. I did a video on how to choose the best metal detector for you - you can find it here: ruclips.net/video/EF4oFvSHbJo/видео.html
Good morning Chris. So I really enjoy your videos and I just wanted to say thank you for your knowledge and time to make these learning curves for us! I have a question about the gold bug pro? I live in Northeastern Wa and I bought the Goldbug Pro. In the video you said it's going to be a challenge for mineralized soil. But it says in the manual that it's good for high mineralized soil. So I'm confused because I need this to work where I'm at or my wife is going to kill me for buying the wrong one 🤫
The manual is a sales tool, and tells you what they think you want to hear. Mineralized ground comes in all grades from slight to extreme. at the lower end you will be fine, in the middle you sill struggle some but pull through and at the upper end you will have difficulty.
It does not work that way. Like asking what is the largest piece of wood you have sawed with a hammer. The GM100 is a tool for searching for shallow gold, and generally small gold. Sometimes big gold is found shallow, but usually bigger gold is down deeper - and for deeper gold I would use a different detector. Watch that video I recommended in my last reply. Its on how deep does my detector go - but talks about the factors of large and small gold.
I just set my Gold Bug up with a 0.8 gram of lead.... The detector coil needed to be Within two inches to detect it ....does that sound about right? What is the smallest piece that you've discovered and at what distance was that.... I'm not going to bother with the tone identification all I need to see is those bars
you didn't say if you were in all metal mode or discriminate or which coil you were using. Both of these choices make a difference in depth of detection. Smallest nugget I have found with the GB Pro is about 0.15 grams. The GB pro is not one of the more expensive super sensitive detectors, but 0.15 grams is a good size.
So I got a question for you I got my (GOLD BUG PRO) in the mail yesterday but the coil was loose in the box . Is this unit super sensitive and should I return this whole detector?? or are they pretty robust and will it be fine?? There’s no damage to the box it was just a loose coil that slid out of its captive piece of cardboard box and probably bouncing around for a few hundred miles 😫 Thank you for your time I really appreciate it . Probably going to return it ! Thx
Hello Chris, i would like to ask when i saw this video, will the device shown the symbol of the gold in left bellow at screen monitor when the coil crossing the actual gold on the land
The detector will distinguish between iron and gold. It will not distinguish between gold and other metals that are not iron (like aluminum, copper, brass, etc.)
@@ChrisRalph so if the coil crosses the type of iron on the bottom left monitor screen on the device the writing will appear Fe (chemical symbol) and if the coil crosses the material does not contain iron then the bottom left monitor screen will only see the bar line....If it will not distinguish between gold and other metals that are not iron. how can we know for certain that the object is gold, can you explain Chris?
Metal detectors cannot cannot tell the difference between gold and something like a lead bullet or a small bit of Brass. This is the science of how metal detectors work. So you Cannot know what it is until you have dug it from the ground and it is in your hand.
Hi Chris I have the gold bug pro. Set up power on turn the gain up turn the nob on to you here a little buz how do you put in all metal mode when I turn the nob to all metal mode there is no more buz or when you turn it on and here the buz is it in all metal mode? Thanks
Hi Chris, thank you for uploading such an informative video. Unfortunately for me I have been using the black coil you showed and have not found any gold to date. Could you tell me the brand and size of the coil you are using in the video? Cheers
You've seen the video I did on the Fisher Gold Bug Pro? ruclips.net/video/5An2cS2K1Lc/видео.html The little coil is 5" round and is made and sold by Fisher. The larger coil is great for coin and relic hunting, but not so great for gold. If the nugget is large enough, it could be seen with the large coil, but most gold is smaller in size.
The bars I am talking about do not measure strength of signal, they measure probability of iron. The 4 or five bars means the machine is real sure that the target is iron. Large gold does not look more like iron than small gold.
I am a Filipino and need your advice if what detector I need for finding gold bars buried inside a 3 feet concrete. I have a location in our place as thick as this and as wide as 3x4 meters in a forest. 1 foot underground this concrete. One corner we tried to dig but water cause us a problem. I decided to buy first a detector to make sure where to dig in a concrete if treasure is present.
I just bought one of these, I have a 24k gold bar to test it with, when I go over it, it shows the bottom left bar reading with 7 bars, the middle reading is all the way over to the right and the big number is 53 and small number is 80, does that sound right?
The left bars and the big number have to do with the mineralization in the ground, so they depend on where you are when you are testing it. The small number is 80, that indicates the target is strong and very conductive, which a gold bar close to the coil should read. I would urge you to read and re- read the manual. The detector acts differently in discrimination vs All-metal mode.
One of the better instructional videos I have seen. Every second was useful and appropriate.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Glad it helped, I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
This is great. Thank you for making this video. Very informative.
Glad you are enjoying it.
Thank you Chris, just purchased this detector. Being new to the world of detecting the manual was very confusing. I think Fisher should have a link to this video! Thank you for sharing your knowledge sir.
Thanks! I am glad you enjoyed the video.
Glad you are enjoying it.
I will do one on the Gold Bug 2 soon. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Awesome video. Loved it.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent Demonstration..👍
Many thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
another good video Chris !!!!!
Glad you enjoyed the video.
Thanks man, really professional helpful video.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
Great video and very information, thanks...!
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for sharing your vast experience! Im curious, you've been doing this for years, what was your most exciting find?
Many big nuggets, all were exciting.
Hey Chris. The Big number are relationated with the mass of the object detected
If you say.
Great knowledge 👌
Glad you liked it
Well done Chris...I make a semi living out of prospecting here in Western Australia.
No coils like that which I know of...... I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Hi Chris Ralph Thank you very much for teaching me how to handle the detector.! I greet and write from Cordoba, Argentina
I wanted to ask you about the limitations of this detector, how much do the nuggets we can hunt weigh and at what depth do they detect them, what is their limit in this sense, weight and depth of the nuggets?
I congratulate and greet you again for being so precise and detailed in the explanation!
sorry my english is translated from spanish! I hope you can understand what I'm saying
Thank you.!
Depth of detection depends on the size of the targets. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Thanks for the great video. Why are there so many lead bullets, buck shot and brass shells near gold mines? It's 80% of what I dig up in the CA high desert!
Its because there are loads of people in Southern CA, and a lot of them like to go shooting in the desert.
@@ChrisRalphOk thats what i thought. Its just that Ive never seen or heard anyone shooting, but Im finding lots of bullets even out in the middle of nowhere in the desert. Unbelievable! Thanks!
great video and very helpful as always
Glad to hear it! Thanks.
Love the machine ,
I have two metal detectors , but fisher gold bug pro is the machine I do trust.
Thanks for sharing, its really is an excellent detector.
Thank you very much sir it's help full for me but I need more information to hunt gold nuggets thanks and GOD bless you
I have many videos, keep watching them.
Huge fan of yours Mr Chris Ralph. I have a gold bug SE. can I apply what you demonstrated with the pro to the se
Glad to hear the video is helpful.
Point well made
Thank Chris
Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
Great informative video so thanks! New sub here. Heading out tomorrow to use it for the first time as we are allowed out - excited to see how it goes especially now I know how to use it!!
Have fun! Gold is difficult to find, so be patient and persistant in your learning.
Great video, thank you.
Glad you liked it!
Just received mine. TONS OF THANX !👍
Enjoy it and have fun!
Thanks! Great video!
Glad you liked it! The GB Pro is a great detector.
great vid bro. Very helpfull.
Glad you liked it.
Hi chris, I am from Bangalore, India. I have watched all your videos and am amazed at the knowledge you have freely shared. Most dont. Thank you very much for being the guru that you are .🙏
Here we have a very highly mineralised ground condition and plenty of iron, I am confused about whether to buy a gold bug pro or a gold bug 2. I greatly appreciate your advice on which is best suited for indian conditions .... 🙏
I've never been to India or looked for gold there so there is no way for me to say what is best for your conditions.
@@ChrisRalph I watched your video on the gold bug pro again and since I am a beginner am buying that right away ! Thank you Chris 🙏
The *boing* sound was hilarious maybe you can do a video for treasure hunting with the large coil and how the *boing* sound is incorporated
That would be fun.... I am glad you enjoyed the video.
Like the vid. Any info on how deep the targets would show up? Say that small nugget... would you hear it from few inches below surface?
And do you know by chance difference between gold bug and pro? Fishing around for first gold detector.
A few inches is correct.
The gold bug and the gold bug pro are similar with the pro having a few more features.
The GB2 sees smaller gold, but the depth of detection for the two are about the same with the same sized coils.
Okay, I just ordered your book. Hopefully I will be able to fly my Cessna 150 to Alaska this summer, 2022, and prospect for gold and get in some fishing. BTW what sort of camera and sound equipment do you use? Thanks
A Cannon E80 camera and a separate mic.
Yesterday I was metal detecting for antique trinkets and dug up a good piece of smoky quartz crystal, a herkimer and reg quartz came from my yard, is this a strong hint to other more valuable treasure?
You do understand that this is a channel about hunting gold nugget and not one about hunting relics, right?
Thanks Chris, I love your videos they are always informitive. If I had the GB Pro with the small round gold coil can I still find relicks and coins with that coil or do I need to purchase the bigger coil as well? Thanks for any advice you have..Tim
For relics and coins you are much better off with the larger coil. I am glad you enjoyed the video.
@@ChrisRalph Thanks for the reply Chris, you and your channel are awesome !!
Brilliant Video, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed the video.
Sir im confuse which should i buy a gold bug pro , nokta makro gold kruzer , xp orx ,,, sir i live in india a hot country which would be worth it
It is a decision you must make for yourself. I do not know your experience finding gold, how much money you have, what type of gold deposits you might work, and many other factors. You must seek knowledge, put all that together and decide for yourself. Glad you enjoyed the video.
@@ChrisRalph sir im just recently graduated guy ,,, i had no experience in golf or i never ever seen any 1 in my country have metal detector,,,
I just wana seach gold im learning many things from you and RUclips
@@ChrisRalph sir i believe in india here have lot of natural gold because india was a part of Australia 250 millions yeas ago ,,if we study about gondwanaland we see it
Gr8 video, I'm trying to decide between the GB or the nokta makro anfibio multi frequency. The Makro has a 20khz frequency with all metal mode and a 4x7 dd sniper coil. It also has auto ground balance, tracking or manual. It really looks like a good detector for what you get for the money. It also has a iron volume.
Glad you are enjoying it.
What you decided ? Are both of detector good for gold nuggets?
Power lines can and do interfere with metal detectors.
@@ChrisRalph thank you Chris. I didn't know this. Thanks for the response.
Honestly, I hadn't seen that model before. I've been eyeing the Equinox for sometime. Look forward to seeing you at Pomona !
The GB2 has found more gold than any other detector combined period. Like Chris said, it’s all about listening what the detector is telling you. The most important thing is know your machine inside out, keep coil low to the ground, balanced and dig every target.
Hi Chris do you have a video on the nox800
just want to know the depth determinationof the machine...how deep can the machine make the detection? a lot of thanks for the instructions
Detection depends on size of the nuggets in the ground. Bigger nuggets can be detected deeper.
@@ChrisRalph a lot of thanks to you chris
@@ChrisRalph im looking at gold bullion (inside a bunker), but we just want to make an estimate of depth from top soil. hope this machine can help answer that. thanks again
Really appreciate the information you put into this video! It definitely helped me out alot. I don't remember you mentioning it in the video but is there a set of headphones you would recommend for the GB pro? Thanks
Just a good set of headphones. I dont use the high dollar ones. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
i am thinking about getting the gold bug pro. i am starting out and i have three quartz veins in my yard. how small does most detectors pick up.i live in south carolina
Size and depth are both factors. The smallest gold is seen only at the shallowest depth. Bigger gold can be seen at deeper depths. I did a whole video on this issue - see: ruclips.net/video/SD3cSkeikto/видео.html
hope your doing well chris, thanks again for all the info
All is well..... Glad you enjoyed the video.
Execlent video chris
Glad you enjoyed the video.
That's great thanks Chris
Glad you enjoyed it
I would like to read your book but I'm Italian and I don't understand English...I could use a pdf copy and with a translator finally read well. thanks for his video i just bought a gold bug (chinese copy) and i think his videos will help me a lot, i live in the philippines and i see it's a good area for gold hunting... what do you think? do you have any suggestions? thanks a lot greetings Roberto
I'm sorry but I don't offer a pdf copy of the book.
I want to search gold jewellery on the beach so which one I should use small white one or big one black one please let me know thanks
The Gold Bug pro is not a good metal detector for hunting on beaches.
Thanks for the video!
Glad you are enjoying it.
Do you think the gold bug 2 is better than the pro and which metal detector would you suggest for a high mineralized area maybe the gold monster?
Mineralized ground comes in all grades from slight to extreme. at the lower end you will be fine, in the middle you sill struggle some but pull through and at the upper end you will have difficulty.
hello ,sir
Does this detector use VLF technology? thanks. .
Yes it does
@@ChrisRalph thank you sir for your answer
Just curious chris,so what is the biggest nugget you,ve found with the ML GM 1000?
@@ChrisRalph all metal...as you suggested...but only 50% gain due to difficult ground... I will test with 0.2 gram of lead on easy ground at 90%
So I got a question for you I got my (GOLD BUG PRO) in the mail yesterday but the coil was loose in the box . Is this unit super sensitive and should I return this whole detector?? or are they pretty robust and will it be fine?? There’s no damage to the box it was just a loose coil that slid out of its captive piece of cardboard box and probably bouncing around for a few hundred miles 😫
Thank you for your time I really appreciate it .
Probably going to return it ! Thx
It should be fine.
Thanks
Not really understanding your questions.
Another great video😊👍
Glad you are enjoying it.
Chris Ralph, Professional Prospector 😊🙏🤔 you have a great channel✊️ I’m learning so much😎Thanks
Hi Chris, thank you for uploading such an informative video. Unfortunately for me I have been using the black coil you showed and have not found any gold to date. Could you tell me the brand and size of the coil you are using in the video?
Cheers
You've seen the video I did on the Fisher Gold Bug Pro?
ruclips.net/video/5An2cS2K1Lc/видео.html
The little coil is 5" round and is made and sold by Fisher. The larger coil is great for coin and relic hunting, but not so great for gold. If the nugget is large enough, it could be seen with the large coil, but most gold is smaller in size.
Could there be lager gold nuggets with more then 4 a 5 bars? Because u said u would not dig it?
The bars I am talking about do not measure strength of signal, they measure probability of iron. The 4 or five bars means the machine is real sure that the target is iron. Large gold does not look more like iron than small gold.
I am a Filipino and need your advice
if what detector I need for finding gold bars buried inside a 3 feet concrete. I have a location in our place as thick as this and as wide as 3x4 meters in a forest. 1 foot underground this concrete. One corner we tried to dig but water cause us a problem. I decided to buy first a detector to make sure where to dig in a concrete if treasure is present.
Get a very large coil for your metal detector whatever you buy. Big coils see large targets deep.
Hi Chris , What if you had a chest with gold in it would it not show iron 3 or four bars and med point on the screen
Is the chest made of iron? all that stuff matters in cache hunting, but I am talking about nugget hunting.
