J'ai aimé le jeune papa, au fil du petit tour de ceinture, expliquant à son fils la fermeture des barrières, et l'exclamation de "woohoo" du petit, dès que le train fait son apparition en sortant des ateliers, et en direction de la Nation.
Très belle vidéo par contre tu as toutes les vidéos de la chaîne Lazar Aleksic ( Vive les MF67 et Vive les MP89 ) car je l'ai perdu donc je me demande est ce que tu as dispoter son lien où pas et tu peux me dire en commentaire comment tu as dispoter sa chaîne RUclips .

Interesting, we probably wouldn't bother with the gates in the UK for a low-speed crossing that is (presumably) relatively infrequently used. Reminds me of Southampton dock level crossing.

I love some of the quirks of the Paris Metro - like this for example ....a level crossings just for Metro trains! ....and a raised bit of track for trains passing through, that can be seen from another platform. Brilliant engineering. London doesn't have either of these things.....but it does have quirks of its own, such as 'Island platforms (Clapham North, and Clapham Common), aswell as escalators that seem to go on forever.....such as at Holborn. But then part of the London Underground is much deeper underground than any station or line on the Paris Metro. As a Londoner, of course I am biased towards the London Underground; but the Paris Metro is fantastic aswell, and also efficient. Not to mention, stylish.
It definitely is not an international standard, for instance all German rolling stock would be allowed to cross level crossings if the train can go on the track (curve radius, weight limits, electrification, etc…). Same in the Czech Republic, Belgium, Netherlands, France, Spain, Poland, Denmark, Italy, …

@@tomassokol8460 oui c'est l'écartement standard (1,435 m). Le métro était même relié à la Petite Ceinture à plusieurs endroits, ce qui permettait la livraison de rames par le rail.

I haven’t seen that part of the metro when I recently visited Paris, reminds me of what we have for Chicago’s brown line.

The train is long enough to be powered by the third rail on either side of the level crossing.

Considering the train is empty and the crossing is manual. I suspect this is the route to the shop.
It's the way to access the depot. Most of the time the barriers are open.

That's a very British thing to do, and even then the underground doesnt do such a thing either, just older mainline trains
