Easy DIY Project: Farmhouse Table and Benches

  • In this video I'm making a farmhouse table and two benches. This is a quite easy project, and I don't use any fancy joinery. Most of the parts are cut on a miter saw, and I use screws to join the pieces together.
    You can make this with common hand tools, but it will of course take more time.

    Beautiful, sturdy and well designed. Seemed pretty proud of the half laps there. Looked really tight.
    Might steal this design for a future project!

    Moin Moin! Schönes Projekt, schlichtes Design mit tollen Proportionen. Gute Musik und guter Schnitt. Vielleicht kannst du in Zukunft einen Schritt weiter gehen: Zapfenverbindung mit Holzdübeln statt Schrauben, Eiche statt Kiefer? Abo hast du auf jeden Fall!

    Hi Dieter, very cool project. Seems like you only use two sizes of wood, what are their sizes? 100x100 for the frame and legs and 45 x 145 for the boards? Really eager to go and try to build this myself so would love to know roughly what size of wood to get. And what type of wood did you use?

    Ok, now, I've got only a simple circular saw, and a drill, how can be possible for me to do the job?

    • @newmanfertig886
      @newmanfertig886 4 года назад

      You can't.

    • @rastaraqi
      @rastaraqi 4 года назад

      You definitely can. You'll also need a protractor or speed square. You can do the mortise and tenons with the circular saw. You probably can't get them as deep, though. I find it easier to do those repeated cuts moving the saw rather than the wood. Search RUclips for circular saw joints

      @@DieterSchneider Sorry, Dieter...I was referring to the A-frames for the seated bench. Is that 45 as well? Looks like its 10-15 degress, but I wasn't sure. Thanks and the build is fantastic.
