Great list! Watched them all. Surprised not to see 'The Ring' on it though. Also, have you seen the movie 'As Above, So Below' from 2014? If not, I can highly recommend it.
Yeah, i would altso recommend as above so below if you have a problem with small spaces. I found it pretty scary, but in the end i though it was wierd. I think it was wierd (spoiler alert) that there werent any real ending, too open ending for me.
13 Ghosts (2001), House of Wax (2005), The Cabin in the Woods (2012), The Shining (1980) and House on Haunted Hill (1999) are on my (unsorted) list too.
The Conjuring is great. But my absolute number 1 is "The Exorcist". Every part, every scene is perfect. There's an amazing atmosphere. And although this film is very old it still scares me extremely to this day. No other horror movie does that.
i love that face in the thumbnail, reminds me of some of your sketches on your comedy channel haha :D not gonna watch the movies though, everytime i watch a horror movie i always end up regretting it :p But i mean, i have seen some of the movies on your list, like The Grudge and The Conjuring, and i totally agree that they are some good horror movies Great vid as always :)
The grudge used to be my favorite horror movie too along with the ring. But the scary movie series really destroyed the scary parts for me :( So now my favorite is The Conjuring films :)
The whole list in the order he said it below 10. The Others 9. It Follows 8. The Sixth Sense 7. Silent Hill 6. Shutter 5. 1408 4. The Exorcism Of Emily Rose 3. The Descent 2. The Conjuring 1. The Grudge / The Grudge 2
Can you also make top 10 movie's with warned spoilers.. So that people can decide if they want to see the video or not. ? And great list tho :D But damn! I hate that ending you scared me just a little. xd
I’m gonna ask you, i have heard good and bad stuff about IT, but what is your personal meaning about IT is it good or bad, i have watched IT but i wanna hear what uou think
I agree - Halloween is the best holiday hands down for a variety of reasons. As for the Others, the twist ending is, lets say, "borrowed" from The Sixth Sense. So I'm kind of surprised you have both these films here. If you haven't already seen The Blackcoat's Daughter, I highly recommend that. It's the best movie of it's specific type I've seen in a long, long time (don't want to ruin it by saying what type.)
@@emilskjdt2142 I Know it's stupid to comment on a Really old comment But sometimes I don't Really Notice And well no problem I Guess Niki Ain't Much for slashers Because All the movies he mentioned weren't slasher movies
I think you should consider adding older movies to your list such as The Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby, The Innocents(1961) and An American Werewolf In London.
The It Follows curse was better done WAAAAY back in the 1960s by the TV day time serial (soap opera) Dark Shadows. In that show, the plot played out over a series of weeks. The curse originated with a witch who had fallen in love with a man named Barnabas Collins two hundred years before. Over the course of their actual life in the 1700s (when they met) Angelic--the witch--is the handmaid to the woman that Barnabas is engaged to marry. Once Angelic finds out that Barnabas in not going to forget about Angelic, she puts a series of spells on him, one of which is to turn him into a vampire. After Barnabas's father discovers that he is a vampire he chains him in his coffin where he stays for 200 years. Once released he finds that Angelic is still alive, and unchanged She wants him still, and in order to get him this time she puts a curse on him that is the curse of dreams. The dreams come first to those around him, and they have this dream night after night until they tell someone about it. The person they tell then has the same dream night after night, but there is more to the dream than what they were told. Each person has their own horror added to the dream. The curse will only end when Barnabas hears the dream and when he has the dream he will die. Angelic is adamant, IF she can't have him, NO ONE will. It was a very scary few weeks as you waited for the next person to have the dream. Then to see what they would add to the dream, and when exactly Barnabas would be told the dream.
I like your choice of horror movies but have seen these ones- insidious chapter 3-sinister-one missed call-the autopsy of Jane Doe-dead silent-,If you have not watched them please do and enjoy.
Seen most on your list except for shutter I will have to watch that, I have so many that I love myself most to me are not really scary but my fav one would be An American Wearwolf in London the special F/X in that were just increadable. For the types of movies that freak me out the most would be psychological thrillers, unlike jump scare type movies or things like monsters these are ones that could happen and do at times.
There are a lot of good horror films unnoticed. Lemme give a short list from my top100 favourites... Hellraiser1, in the mouth of madness, event horizon, objective, flight7500, deadbirds, devilspass, plague, below, evidence, willowcreek, exists, heidi, drag me to hell, deborah logan, Eye of dead, before i wake and so on. The latest favourites are barbarian, channel zero and jack in the box.
Hey niki, have u seen "the babadook"? It is probabaly my favourite horror movie to this date. Its an indie horror movie with an oscar worthy perfomance by Essie Davis! I strongly suggest u check out. It is the defenition of goosebumps!
What about The Conjuring 2, Annabelle 1 and 2 and the Insidious series? They're so good and well put together all of them. Ofcourse they're pretty new and im more into that kind of stuff rather than the old stuff.
I dont have a full top 10. Surprised to see how many modern horrors you've got. With the only classic being The Sixth Sense. As for my favourites. My number one spot is between The Sixth Sense, The Exorcist and Hereditary. The Sixth Sense is the most emotionally touching of the three. The Exorcist is the most well made of the three. And hereditary is the scariest of the three. Dont know which i like better
I personally really love some of the saw movies I mean not all of them are that good but its a pretty cool franchise also I was surprised not to see insidious on your list it is quite an amazing horror movie and if you havnt watched them I think you should give them a try (There are 3 movies in the franchise with a 4th comming) I can also recommend you a horror movie called The Babadook it is the best horror movie I have ever watched so give it a try
Wow! I'd put the same movies in my top 10 except the Silent Hill and of course, the original asian versions of Shutter and The Grudge instead of the hollywood versions
Forbandelsen er den absolut mest uhyggeligt film, jeg nogensinde har set. Jeg så den første gange, da jeg var 12 og det fuckede mig totalt op D: Har du set Dead Silence? Den er også virkelig uhyggelig

Chucky, Sadako/Samara, Kayako and Carrie are my favourite horror villains (actually the real villain of Carrie is Margaret!)
