I had a great few days there. Lots of people in my telegram group were also telling me places i needed to visit in the city area. It really was a nice store. Not everything great about food stores are only in Moscow, as this shop proves.
What an incredible shop. I love how green and clearly very fresh their vegetables look and that rich red water melon just made me want to drink something refreshing. I can honestly say I never get such variety and range of products anywhere in London even in the most expensive and exclusive shops such as Harrods and Whole Food Market. These shops are ultra-expensive in London but they don't offer the quality and range shown in this video. I wish there was a store like this in London.
It's amazing to read comments from people abroad. For us, such stores are a common thing, even in residential areas, small Pyaterochkas always have a great selection of goods, not to mention large supermarkets, of which there are quite a few in Yekaterinburg. An incredible supermarket! I always find it nice to see that there are still the butchery and fish counters for the fresh produce. I think now that by far the majority of supermarkets in the UK have closed them, simply to cut costs.

I really love Giperbola, because I can buy products from other countries there. I'm planning to go to Yekaterinburg in the end of December for buying Christmas sweets and chocolate from other countries and hand-made Christmas toys in Giperbola exactly.
It's nice that the cashier workers are able to work and be seated down. I don't understand why most places require that job to be standing up. You can do the job either way but sitting down will not be as physically taxing to the body.

Actually, all regions of Russia are well supplied with goods, foods and services. And the state and local governments spend lots of money on infrastructure investments. This store is really well supplied.
I used to live next to this store and constantly went there to buy waffle rolls. They are very tasty there, almost the same as my mother bakes, with whom we now live very far from each other. Recently, my mother gave me her old Soviet electric waffle iron, in which she baked her tubes for 40 years. It is only in this electric waffle iron that such incomparable tubes are obtained. Now I can bake them for myself and I am very happy :)

The oven showed has the name of tandyr (тандыр in Russian). It is an Asian type of oven famous in Russian own small bakerys together with ordinary professional electric ovens.
A little remark, this is one of the most expensive and top quality supermarkets located in the city downtown, for pretty wealthy people, so it's not common. The more common and good supermarkets are Lenta, Perekrestok, they are nice too.
funny. this is not a store for some special people, it’s just very large, and there is more choice there, in addition to ordinary vegetables, you can find all sorts of rarities, raspberries in the middle of winter, pea pods, etc. but this does not mean that you cannot buy the most ordinary ones there groceries XD Of course, people who live in residential areas won’t bring bags of groceries from the center; it’s easier to buy food in their area or order delivery. It’s in the USA that there are organic stores where everything is more expensive than in regular supermarkets

Imagine how excited he was to show me this video! I used to work in Grinwich Mall for 6 years, and I almost everyday I bought food and drinks in Giperbola. I honestly miss those days because the food there was quite tasty and the stuff was always welcoming. But it’s definitely not a regular supermarket - I would say people with higher salaries shop there regularly. The other ones would be workers of the mall and students too, but only because the dorm is literally right next to the mall. But anyway, great video! Thanks for sharing! For me it was like a blast from the past, my last visit to this place was literally my last day of work.

Гипербола реально очень хороший магазин.Я посещаю его один, два раза в неделю более 10 лет. В нем я нахожу продукты, которые редко встречаются в других магазинах.Разные вкусняшки. Широкий выбор качественных продуктов на самый взыскательный вкус.
я из Екатеринбурга - Гипербола это очень хороший магазин для гурманов, действительно. Там можно купить все. Но в городе полно супермаркетов не с таким широким ассортиментом, где есть все необходимое.. и дешевле, поэтому необходимости ехать в Гиперболу особой нет.

Гипербола реально очень хороший магазин.Я посещаю его один, два раза в неделю более 10 лет. В нем я нахожу продукты, которые редко встречаются в других магазинах.Разные вкусняшки. Широкий выбор качественных продуктов на самый взыскательный вкус.

я из Екатеринбурга - Гипербола это очень хороший магазин для гурманов, действительно. Там можно купить все. Но в городе полно супермаркетов не с таким широким ассортиментом, где есть все необходимое.. и дешевле, поэтому необходимости ехать в Гиперболу особой нет.

You forget to mention the HP Sauce. )) What is always the mystery to me is how do they get to Russia. All of the western brands are new stock, if you look at the manufacture dates on the back.
@TravellingwithRussell can’t forget the HP sauce! And I imagine it has a lot to do with the fact they’re connected by land to EU/China, I think countries like to say they aren’t trading but absolutely are!
