Speaking of Mark Spears about 6 months ago I was watching Angelo live stream new comic book day, he picked up Action Comics 1066 1:25 Marks Spears(Lobo Cover) and I told him to buy it. Think they only wanted $25. I immediately went and bought 3 copies online for around $20 each. That book is now selling up to $150 raw.
I have such a hard time finding good deals at cons. Usually prices are double or triple what they should be. I’ve pretty much stopped going to cons all together. Just eBay for me.
I have much better luck at smaller😮 cons ive gone to bc I see some of the same vendors who I've bought from in the past, so they recognize me and I always chat with them about things other than comics. It builds a good repoire with them, especially when you pay with cash. I usually don't get good deals at larger cons like Dragon Con, especially for big key issues.

Newsstands don't get valuable until after 1987
Why ?
@@corderoismael23 Cause the newsstand comic slowly became extinct starting at that point.
I would say 1995. 1987 was about 50/50
@@leighwestfall1578 I disagree. ASM 300 newsstand is worth more. Especially high grade. I can name others.
