The soldier model actually has the military shield it was & is used on the swiss military knives check out the previous
alox models both Victorinox and Wenger issue models have that shield Interestingly the soldier model Victorinox
makes for U.S. soldiers has the shield used on the civilian / officers knives.

Love the knowledge drop! Thanks 👍 is it fair to assume you’re a long time lover of the brand?

@ you’ve got more insight. Definitely. I got my first in ‘08 but I’ve been around the block a few times more than most in my bracket. I appreciate contributions from people like you - so please check back. I love learning. Just uploaded a video on a traditional knife. The “Cowhand” by Bear and Son Cutlery. Heard of it?
My first traditional in years and it doesn’t disappoint.

Didn't watch the entire video due to all the profanity.

@@donhames5492 I've heard before that I tend to be an acquired taste. The layers of which have been marinated through grit and love. Both, when taken seriously bring out many words mutual in tone. Thank you for leaving your impression. Blessing!
