@@RazOls his grip is semi western like Nadal so more spin than Roger on average but when he flattens out the forehand with a straight arm it's almost a dead ringer for Roger. But a more physical shot though with exceptional timing. But I remember Rogers match against Sampras at 19 in 2001. Carlos to me appears to attack the net more and has feel at least as good
@@RazOls he has almost no weaknesses thats why he is so good ! Best forehand, insane backhand, super good net play, incredible mouvements and serve and return have improved a lot
You were quick with this one, Raz! You were waiting with your finger on the upload button 😂 Fantastic display today against Medvedev. I never doubted him for a second before this match! Carlos is beginning to feel and look unreal. He has 3 Masters and a GS now, curios to see if he manages to win 3 more by the times he turns 20. Rafa had 6 Masters won by the time he was 20 if I'm not mistaken. Realistically, Carlos can only get to 5, since he turns 20 in May, so only Miami and MC could be added. Nonetheless, I feel like another tennis legend is unfolding it's first steps right before our eyes. If anyone after the Big 3 has the change to get to 20 majors, that is Alcaraz and he is the only one I have this feeling about at present time. The man seems made out of the same elements as the Big 3. Talent, endurance, power, agility, footwork, resilience and to top all that, great work ethic and humble without being fake.
@@sherlockhomeless7138 I feel Sinner will become a true rival because he gets up for their matches. Many critique him because he hasn't performed better vs Novak, but I think he'll give Carlos a good run as they get more experienced. Holger, Lorenzo are two more to keep watching.
The greatest inside-out forehand was prime Fed. The ball path was an absolute laser. Well over 100 MPH. Just phenomena to watch. Carlos is the best we have today though his ball has a lot of shape. When players first encounter him, they are just astonished he can hit that shot behind the baseline for winners. That was Tsitsipas' reaction.
This is y roger is 3-0 against Medvedev mainly cos of his strategy, Medvedev wants the opponent to loose and fed wants himself to win, two polar stances.
I've been watching a lot of Carlos matches and he does give you opportunities to get ahead in the point, but too few players really take advantage. I actually think Roger Federer in his prime would have done very well against Carlos. When Carlos gives you a rally ball that sits up, it's not the time to go easy and hit a heavy spin rally ball.
It is almost painful watching Tsitsipas realizing that he will probably not become N°1 anytime soon, with Alcaraz around..he was able to beat him still a year or so ago..won't happen again...
Congratulations Carlos, superb victory over Medvedev in the Indian Wells final. What a player 💪
Ah very nice new favorit of me since Roger's gone
Hello Raz! Do you feel that Carlitos is the successor of RF?
@@Heroickamikaze Not the same type of player, but in terms of entertainment yes. But no one will match Roger for me

Safe to say best forehand of the world right now ! Insane power, precision and variation ! Alcaraz is just so good
He’s insanely good… got pretty much all the tools and extremely exciting to watch. I hope he gets to stay injury free

I'm looking forward to seeing more top 10 lists from Alcaraz over the next decade!
Those small steps that he takes to the side before he hits the ball... if you see them you’re in big trouble!
And then he can switch to a delicate drop shot... You dead anyway... Specially cause you don't know what's coming...
😮😮IS incredible this boy. Incredibleeee

Carlos is the real deal. If he manages to stay injury free, he can win everything.
If he manages to win at least one grand slam per year, he should be able to win close to 20 :)
@@sherlockhomeless7138 Honestly I wonder if Carlos will last that long? As thrilling as he is, he might break down.
@@pawshands9706 Time will tell. But when Djokovic and Nadal he seems to have not too many competitors, other than Rune, Tsitsipas and Sinner.

Well to be fair cthe courts back then were a ton faster so that s why it seems that way
Loving these videos you’re creating 🏆🎾🔝🖤
Makes perfect sense that he has this shot down with Fed being his favorite
stay fit and free from injuries and this guy will be unstoppable

A thing of beauty
Carlos beat in form Meddy in straight like he's not younger or less experienced
He has everything to be the best player even better than Novak.

Federer had the same forehand but more consistent. Watch his semi against Agassi during the US Open in 2005.
la edad no perdona rafa😊.😢tienes un buen sustituto

The best one by far is not the one against tsitsipas in RG
Hoping u don't run out of steam so that we can enjoy U even mo
Alrcaraz plays almost exactly like Serena Williams.
Yeah, Serena being so famous for having the greatest dropshot on tour... 🧐
He is showy, but needs to be more consistent and have fewer injuries.
