Being a man, who displays emotion doesn’t make a man unmanly, it’s merely displaying a different type of man, I’d argue, a well rounded man.
I learned a long time ago that if I’m in a group of men who judge me by my level of manliness, I either leave or push back. I know what I am and what they think doesn’t matter. If they are taking the time to evaluate me and believe they are qualified to do so, they are wasting their time and being foolish.
Men like them likely see something in you that they wish they had, and because they don’t have it, they tear you down, to pretend the role of dominance over you. In that circumstance, a male INFJ must act to expose those men directly and with authority. We INFJs have a way of being able to burrow into the minds of narcissists and sociopaths with absolute brutal truth. It’s mental judo.
If people can’t handle you, they aren’t worth your time. What matters most is how God sees you. Many masculine men who have money, women, fame, power, and dominance are headed for literal hell because they dismiss or reject the deity of Jesus Christ and His atonement for their sins.
A man is a man if he possesses a set of male chromosomes, and has the required anatomy. That’s it INFJ brothers.

I agree with you 💯 percent. Men should be just as free to express themselves as women. True equality demands it.

I would not like to be a man, there is too much pressure to be macho, as you said, and it is wrong. This world needs to see the gentle side of men more. If more men were allowed used the "feminine" side of themselves, without judgement, we may not have so many wars. The world would be a safer place for animals as well as other humans. Have you seen any of the videos from the speech prof? I love him correcting some views. Love you Johnny. Don't hide your gentle side for anyone. 🌈🌻

The way I see it. If we are one of the types more in touch with our feelings or feelings in general. Regardless that is the card we are dealt. No one owes us anything. So, the way things are - ALL men will deal with this, regardless of their personality type.
Women in general will find it unnactractive. (Regardless of what they say or think its an observable fact from us men. With few exceptions or nuance) That said - Only the worse kind of woman wont deal with that programming when its GRIEVING. If a woman cant handle a man upset over losing someone important, even a dog, then leave that woman.
Men will see other men as weak. Its also a matter of stability for sake of safety. Emotions include anger. If someone is emotional, leading to anger, and they dont have control of that shit? That puts others at risk. Specifically 'I' may need to deal with them. Because 'I' am a emotional stable man. Aka it takes a man to deal with another man. I may have to risk my life to deal with some other idiot that doesnt have control of his emotions. (Women please recognise that btw)
However. Im 99% referring to people who arnt self aware or developing themselves. We are humans. We are different from the other animals on this planet. We are capable of more and should persue that. Women can overide their basic programming and quit the primitive BS of not letting us be emotional. Yes it may be unnattractive but be more self aware to allow it. Same logic to men finding other men weak.
Final note. Im willing to show my weaknesses in some cases because I know what type of man I am. Im ganna win regardless. Thats a different level of confidence. I /want/ the woman to leave for the above reasons because she isnt high enough level for me. We arnt just basic primitive animals. I dont behave like one.

As an INFP I can relate so much and do not think men should keep their emotions in, it's ridiculous. It takes strength to be vulnerable for one thing and another thing, being authentic is super manly. Take care! PS, 2 of my exes are INFJ's. Love INFJ's!

😂 I love a good rant. I have my own personal beefs with kindness, healthy authenticity and cooperation being taken for weakness or a handicap nowadays. You don't have to be one of those slimy "nice guy" manipulators to see it. The girly girl = dumb is part of it imo. I imagine it's annoying on the male side too. This whole narcissistic combative predatoryness is a cancer on society.

You are only allowed to cry at the sight of someone else's blood, not your own!
This is not one of those pesky unwritten social norms! This is the conclusion of introverted intuition, pondered by introverted thinking, modified by extraverted feeling, because of Introverted Sensing!

Emotional men are disparaged for the same reason than non-hetero men are, because some people think it threatens the traditional male-dominant gender role. The actual problem is that those people are likely insecure about their own sexuality or status and/or have been caught up in religious dogma, dogma which probably has more to do with power & population than morality.

The irony of western society pushing progressivness is that we've starting regressing more and more in recent years to the point where noone really knows who they're supposed to be anymore. I'm so glad I'm moving to Japan later this year.

It really hurts my heart to know/see males go through this. And to me, it just doesn't make logical sense.. It's ok/normal for a young boy to display emotions (maybe even concerning if he didn't?) But a grown man it's not..all of a sudden he's not human anymore? A robot maybe? I'd be curious to know males experience of when they remember this shift happening in life..at a certain age? Was it peer influence to suppress own emotions? Culture influence, of course. Emotions=Human
I'll take a human over robot any day..

As an INTJ female (who feel more man than most of men, with an extreme male brain : Asperger) who don't express emotions in my normal mode : You totally right !
(I don't care of the genre of people) Oops I am arrogant & blunt for a female 🤣

@@goteamslugs Thank you for the answer ^^ Cause certains INTJ, it's how we feel.
What I am sure is INFJ & INTJ are balanced right & left brain, and balanced thinking & feeling. Not surprising we are living paradoxes, with many layers of paradoxes.
