Oh My, Peter! You sound & look like a million bucks! Those extra days were completely necessary- so glad that you did exactly what your Doctor ordered (I'm NOT a MD- but, I play one on TV!) Phew, I was seriously worried about your combined health- you were a mess. But, conversely, it seems like a ton of fun on Waxwing when the wind is blowing & sunny as all get out! Much better overall!

Such a sunny trip ! Looking forward to getting more footage of the island when you meet up with friends, and the plan of sailing to Cape Verde with a friend sounds awesome too !

Hi Dave , yes there a rescue on that day ok but all was in hand
I recall saying "whats the crack?" on an American boat and told me they didnt have any..... gets worse when you have to explain. Route De Rhum, new record 11 days for IMOCA. Maybe crowd fund some foils for Waxwing. :) Average 16 knots, no thanks......

Normally sailing to fast Chris but have dropped a line one or twice while anchored , it’s good to have onboard and I have a big selection of lures

Hi Adrian , I love my Rolly Tasker sails , no complaints at all , sail quality, dealing with them , delivery all went perfectly 😊⛵️
Peter, this might be a silly question but when I was younger and sailed, I got too nervous about the boat heeling over too much and possibly flipping. This fear likely came from sailing small boats to start. When I watch your videos, when do you know to reduce sail vs heeling too much? Thanks.
