I grabbed these as beaters and I wanted to skate them but once I swapped out the laces I stepped back and took a second look. Super underrated dunk. The gold laces take away from this shoe and in my opinion it’s either white or black laces. White for the canvas upper but once I skate them I’m throwing the black laces on because these are very similar to Chicagos after seeing other people remove the upper layer.
Im also a narrow foot and I go true to size in sb dunks as well. Normal dunks fit me a bit wide but is perfect in length, sb dunks fit perfectly. But there are very slim insoles that are meant to help people with sweaty feet keep their feet dry. Those insoles are exactly the amount of space I need to make shoes that are too wide for me fit perfect. And they cost like €3.
To me this shoe has a purplish hue I think because of the underlying dragon red suede combined with the light blue canvas. I do like your choice but I decided to use the purple laces from the Ryassa's to enhance the look and add color.
I have a nice video idea Like a sort of video where you show the shoes you have worn for a period and how they felt on foot. Laceswaps are an easy way to elevate a shoe. I have done laceswaps just to change the shape of the laces, or even to have shorter laces. Just like you, I don't like to tie my laces. So when they are too long I usually hide them under the insole. But with thick laces and bad insoles that doesn't really work. So then just having shorter laces helps. Oh and on older white pairs, at some point they basically turn brown, and when the shoe is cleaned they still look gross. So I always have new white laces in stock as well. There is a store near me that sells laces they aim at sb dunk users and they feel pretty much the same.

I have compared their laces to the ones included in a sb dunk and they are pretty much the same. Flat laces from stores like this are even cheaper and also very comparable to what brands include. They have like a million colors too. In the physical store they also have wide laces. I have a very nice pair of puma suede xl, the shoe is awesome. But the laces feel very cheap to me. So I'm planning on picking up a pair of black fat laces from them to elevate them.

And I was like, well the laces still look like you have been beating them for 10 years. Why not spend 3 euros on a pair of new white laces. So reluctant she bought a pair of laces and then messaged again. Wow, they really look just like when they were new now!
Stock laces fit the best since the piping is gold too. Fat white laces is a close second. I hope you cut them after a while because this is one of the best looking tearaways.
I couldn’t do the gold laces. Not even on the Pelle Hat dunks. Or more commonly known as reverse papa bears. I just think the gold laces take away from this shoe. But I did use the gold laces for my Malachites and that right there I 100% like. If you haven’t already, give the gold laces a shot on the Malachites.
its one pair that got away from me i wanted to buy it so bad then everywhere sold out then i have no Money to buy theres some available i have to pray they stay available or i have to pay resell last month destroyed my finances
Me too, i have to sell some to accommodate new SBs. But where you from because in EU they are still super available now. I'm not sure though next year or next month 🤷🏽
