I use the essence toner as supplemental hydration between serums. It's not enough as a first step by itself. I'm From Rice Toner, on the other hand, is delicious. I do LOVE the moisture serum. There is something so simple and elegant about it, and I look forward to putting it on every day. Balancing Gel at night to seal in all my layers is a wonderful capstone. I was never a big acne sufferer, but I had been experiencing some by going through a revolving door of too many other products. Once I simplified my routine and settled into a consistent regimen using PY, I haven't had a blemish since.

I have been using PKY Moisture Serum for 2 years since I breastfed my daughter. Breastfeeding sometimes makes my skin dehydrated due to the amount of water that I lose during that time. This serum worked great on my dehydrated skin. It kept my skin plump and glowing. The most important thing is, that my skin was super healthy when I was using it!

Tried them all, love Pyunkag Yul nutrient cream, Hada Labo perfect gel, Dr. Cilabo aqua collagen and grow factor but I believe Johnson & Jonson just bought Ci:Labo so, here it goes product going to the tank.

I so love the hada labo perfect gel moisturizer. During lockdown I dove headfirst into an elaborate new K-Beauty routine and got what ended up to be a nasty case of fungal acne. EVERYTHING I had made my skin more inflamed and itchy plus the antifungal medicine dried my skin out even more. Hada Labo Perfect Gel is one of the few fungal acne safe moisturizers that didn't aggravate the fungus. My fungal acne cleared up long ago, but I still love using the Hada Labo Perfect Gel moisturizer.
How did you like the Pyunkang Yul Nutrient Cream? I just ordered their Moisture Cream as I feared the Nutrient Cream would be too heavy under SPF and makeup. Are you able to use it in the daytime?
@@krisr3612 I use pyunkang yul only in my night routine. After retinol and the nutrient cream, I sealed my skin with the balancing gel to let the active ingredients absorbed.

Is the Pyungkang Yul essence toner suitable for oily acne-prone skin whilst using other active ingredients eg AHA/BHA or Tretinoin?
Pyungkang Yul used to be my favourite. Love it. I never know it is very good. I thought it just uses 'water'🤣
Is it ok to use skincare with eastern meds along with skincare with active ingredients? Or is it better to just focus on one?
For example: essence toner from pyungkang yul + serum that has active ingredients from other brands.
Did you do a video on vitamin b, all the vitamin b in skincare? I watched one this week but I cannot find the video now.
I had tried the essence toner before. For me, it is not hydrating enough and my skin became rougher over time (it leads to me buying products that had bha to clear the roughness and now it is is not rough anymore). Though, it does make my pores smaller probably because it contains argenine that support collagen production. I use other toner now because i doesn't like it and layer this product at the areas that have bigger pores as it don't want to waste my money.
It’s only a toner and not a moisturizer. You need to put a moisturizer over top to seal in moisture.
I tried pyungkang yul toner. It was great and this is the only toner that leaves smooth finish, no sticky at all. However the hydration level its ok, still prefer haruharu wonder blackrice toner when i need more hydration.

I got dry skin I brought the toner, serum, nutrition moisturizer.. love the way my skin feels hydrated soft.. I should of got the gel one for dry skin not the one I brought

The Botanicals are probably actually really healthy and I was also wondering why he didn't name any of the Botanicals in it .
I actually watched another channel right before this and I'm wondering I'm get if I'm getting him confused with someone else but I don't want to have to scroll back through this but I could have sworn he did mention Botanicals ... didn't he ?
I really don't like this brand, every item dried my skin out, I am on my 6th item and still have 1 more unopen. I tried the first 4 items as a set (cleanser, mist toner, ampoule, and moisture cream) for my entire routine and was dried out after a few weeks. Then I tried the essence toner after 1-2 years break, the same dried out, peeling after 6 weeks. That Huang Qi/astragalus root you talk about could be the cause. Overall, I do not agree that the brand is for dry skin people. PKY is a well-known atopic dermatitis (eczema/湿疹) hospital in South Korea, I am not surprise they build their skincare for that purpose but at least warn the dry skin people, they cure the skin condition by drying but when I do not have that condition, it caused my dry skin to be drier. Sry, can't agree on this slugging with PKY cream especially when skin is dry.
Im so sorry you feel that way, I had the opposite effect! It has been the best thing for my skin and my skin was sooooooooooooooooo dry that it physically hurt, it was tight and dehydrated. Just awful! I am currently on my 2nd moisture ampoule and its been amazing. I would suggest you check with your doctor about your dry skin, many diseases like sjorgrens syndrome cause continuous dry skin. Maybe get a blood test just to rule out any pathological conditions
That first routine with the mist, ampoule and moisture cream is designed for their oily skin line. The essence toner, moisture serum and nutrient cream are for dry skin. I have been researching for a few weeks trying to figure out the products. I just placed a giant order coming from Korea. 🤞
Actually they have a newer calming line with a good moisturizer for dry skin that I ordered as well. I believe it is full of Cica, mugwort and very low levels of PHA. They have a full size set available on Amazon right now for only $29 or you can buy individual products for

It isn't a one size fits all and it is frustrating that when people speak the truth which is opposite to the rest of the crowd, it is always the one who does not have the same experience who is problematic but not the skincare items.

Omg, finally someone who shares my opinion on pky. I’ve bought 2 items and my skin feels extremely dry and tight after them, especially the nutrition cream, my skin has never felt so stripped before. What a disappointment, it’s def not for fellows with dry skin
I tried the essence and the mousturizer cream. Didn't work for me feel so dry. Price so high but wasted
If your skin is more dry can go for hydrating moisturizer
What if my skin is oily but dehydrated with acne scars? Will this toner be suitable & not too heavy/sticky on my skin?
