Great store, my best memory of Jurassic Park was probably Christmas 1994. My uncle had a massive surroundsound in his cabin, we went there for Christmas & he had it up on the big screen. The entire house was vibrating as the T-Rex was stomping, we even all laughed how of our water glasses were doing the same as it was on the screen! There’s nothing like that first one!!! 🦕👏❤️👏🦖 The soundtrack - the suspense, truly one of the best cinematic experiences in memory!

My Jurassic Park memory was going the opening weekend with my fellow zookeepers ❤We shared a lot of experiences together like that! That memory came flooding back with the tour of that absolutely fabulous Tribute Store, can’t believe it’s been thirty years 😮Thanks, Jay!

👋Hi, Jay!! JP came out when I was in the 8th grade. I had always been fascinated with dinos and even considered going to school for paleontology. I think I went to the theater 3 or 4 times to watch this movie. It blew me away. Next to the Matrix, this will always be one of my favorite movie experiences. ❤️
Adorable kid pix of you and the stego! It was a blast meeting you, in the rain, no less. Ginger Princess (my youngest child) remarked that it always rained when we went to see JP movies at the drive-in.💧 Talk about immersive!⛈ Kids in the jeep being attacked by a T-Rex &🦖 we're in a station wagon in a downpour!

Jurassic Park was the last film I saw in the theater with my Dad before he passed on. It's unlikely film to have such a special place in one's heart, but for me it surely does....

Hi, I love that movie, thanks for sharing. I think if I went to that store, I'd just say, 'Take my money, just take it, I want everything." lol. Do you have a Jurassic Park poster? I gotta get one, plus a Raiders of the Lost Ark, my other fav. That thunder at the end reminded me of when the T. Rex first appeared in the movie. Maybe he was around, lol. glad you had some fun back in 93 not a good year for me, meanwhile about this time i'm trippin on some bad pot...or maybe i tried to much....UuUUMmM..oh yeah so ANYWAY, my take away from this movie was the Logo, the Explorer, and the merch, soundtrack i still have it, love this music so much, instantly puts me back there, enjoying it for the first time, i never collected from the toys, i was never into Dinosaurs, but the other merch i was..like i went and bought a shirt, never had one, up until the newer trilogy movies started coming out.,,again the logo is about iconic as the "BATMAN", or "DIck Tracey" logos, kinda designed the same, big and bold and with colors that pop.

Sorry, my pet peeve....you're pronouncing Pantages wrong. It's "Pan-tages" or "Pant-ages". Try to RUclips the REAL Pantages Theater in Hollywood and listen to how people pronounce the word.

Many people who are Star Wars fans but were too young to experience it in 1977 often wonder what it was like to see that movie for the first time on the big screen. As someone who was young but still remember that very experience will often compare that to when I saw Jurassic Park in 1993. While it wasn't the same, it was rather close to that "HOLY SH....... what did we just see" feeling! You wanted to go out and buy another ticket to watch it again at the very next showing! I love JP...and thanks for taking us along as many of us will probably never get to the Tribute Store!
