Install a renewed pre-2000 engine and you won’t need def, dpf or e-logs! Then those beautiful stacks can actually be functional.
The wrap around back fenders painted to match would have set that truck off completely. Absolutely gorgeous truck. Great job 👍🏻👏🏻

In Ireland we snake the pipe under the truck for better sound, more pipe more bends = more noise even with euro 6 engine. The V8 scania 650 motor is the best of the new stuff and sounds as good as the oldskool . This peterbuilt is awsome and the standard of your work is top notch for sure. Happy New year Guys .
Any inspector of the Kraftfahrtbundesamt (KBA), which is about equivalent to your NTSB - would be gripped with panic when having a closer look at this truck! Sharp edges at the sides of the truck (pedestrians!) and all that lighting around! You can see US trucks on German roads, but they are as rare as pink elephants :)! Thanks again for this great video (the shots at the end of the vid really are top notch!). These trucks ARE always an important part of American culture, in line with the hamburger, US firetrucks, Garfield and Peanuts!

This truck has still retained some of the most important features that add to THE image of the US truck in Old Europe: the position of the exhaust pipes, the hood itself, the chrome - plated rims, the split windscreen, and the long sleeper compartment, to name a few! Looks just great, and certainly costs the equivalent of President Trumps home, doesn't it?

You built a real nice Pete, I'm real old school, a 389 with factory taper bumper, two fog lights, five bullet roof lights, twin air horns on the roof, two chrome spotlights and factory drop visor, what would make the Pete unique is I'd change nothing, oh don't order one I'm 76 years old, still like looking at Petes, owned six (one at a time) in 26 and 1/2 years, pull toy here.

Really though , I don't like the fact that as a nation we are the cleanest in the whole world by far. Russia , France, Italy , India, Turkey, The whole continent of Africa on and on... And the EPA the industry isn't allowing our trucks to emit the smoke out of stacks... ridiculous.. we hardly put any emissions in the air that we breathe. Burns my stacks 😤

Full titanium exhaust will change the tone of the exhaust in a way that makes the old truck sound obsolete.

Where's the drain on the stacks? It's going to rain and snow, need a drain or capped at the top.
Really nice truck but yet you get to the back of the sleeper and you got them Huck bolts hanging out of the frame my thought would be get rid of the Huck bolts and install bolts with the nuts on the inside of the frame just saying you can also add steps chain hangers and anything else you want with bolts

I remember going with my dad in his new 2004 freightliner classic, going down the coke with the jakes on, windows down.... loved it ! Now as I want to get into truck'n we've got all this BS EPA crap, absolutely taking the fun out of it. I know truckers are aware of how much power they have, if they'd all just unite. Can literally shut the country down in hours. What for? SO we can sound cool? Well, as I understand it, it's not just the fun.... it's the cost of repairing these new environmentally friendly engines that keep breaking down. SCREW THE BLUE.

Sweet truck but, I would have had to put some half fenders on the drives.....to add to the extras.....keep all that road shit off back of sleeper and off those pretty stainless boxes.....
No disrespect but looks much cleaner with flat bolts through out the frame, instead of huckbolts
I know taste is acquired but how can you possibly like a truck with FAKE stacks? I'll rebuild my 6nzCat Kenworth with real straights a hundred times before I will have a wannabe truck
super sweet headlights are #1 mod,air intakes ambient style lighting rules in my book, im over penny and chicken style( so much $ and time and potential trouble for a less pleasing look to my eye) would rather just have the glow as you have under the front shining threw the rims , but to each his own. its all subjective to personal tastes and opinions -the leds i installed are bluetooth ,100k different colors for when parked- unlimited hazzard style flashing styles,controlled by music or voice if your into that for $80, i know you probably wont say the costs on here and i understand they would be ASStronomical! the truck is super custom but you asked for opinions, love the badging with lighting around them,i also love clear to red rear leds have 13 of them on back of my new rig also along with strobes,love the cat walk that you technically cant walk on lol but its sweet to look @ no doubt, i personally use easy to remove catwalk panels(practical) and then underglow leds in 100.000 colors when sitting,this truck as any show/ work truck will take insane hours to keep beautiful if you plan to make real $ with it.but custom costs a lot of time to stay that way. Holyroller out!

Did a passenger side door step box come from the factory due to the weed burner exhaust or did u guys add that? usual just see the ugly dpf step cover. a nice option to get that old school look
Yes , good eye! Dpf is under the frame, behind the fuel tank!
@@brianmluyk4666 I can't say I've ever seen that done I might actually spec the weed burner on my next 389 in the coming months just for the step box.
I take it you have two alternators to run all the lights.
13 lites look as if they are jammed in to tight, why was built with huck bolts on the frame? Other than that very nice
Daniel, we certainly build with bolted frames. Huck bolts never need torqued in comparison to Bolted frames which technically need torqued during periodic maintenance and may cause problems with cross members, suspension,etc... The trade off is the Hucks looking different. Believe it or not, this truck will likely travel it's million miles as a fleet truck. Great question! Keep em coming!

Beautiful truck if you have the money. I'd rather put that kinda money into a home. Hope this is a show truck and not a road truck. Too beautiful to see any weather, and having to wash it every week.

What america has come to is sad everything you buy comes on a truck and they cant even have stacks that are hooked up i think the epa should look at big business not the people that supply the world people have a misconception with trucking it is a necessity not a job or a luxury thanks drivers have a great day be safe.

I don't want to be rude Steve. This truck has some nice features on it, no doubt. However it is way to overdone for my taste, and wallet too. Like they say to each is own. What is this truck going to haul? It better be something like just door to door. Can't see this being a serious work truck. Duh.
Patriot why can’t it be a serious work truck? I’d easily run this truck daily and hope to build one this custom one day. The ones In the trucks shows with custom painted and chromed out motors are most likely non work trucks

Would look a bit better with a different hood ornament and remove the sleeper fairings. Need to do something with the interior as well! Other than that, nothing really special about it

What a waste of money you can have the 8 inch pipes but have the exhaust go through them and still have all that garbage under it having the stacks and then the main pipe under it is just ducking stupid I was falling in love with the truck till I seen that then I just put a comment and stopped watching the video ewww

Useless waste of good chrome on the exhaust pipes since they are fake not to mention the fuel mileage is probably cut down because of those tall ass fake exhaust pipes. Sleeper is to small other than that cool.
