This is the fifth time! My OET expired 1 year ago, PLAB 1will be expired by June 2022 and the earliest date available for PLAB 2 is August. Couldn't think of anything : (
Gmc must have planned ahead as we all know these circumstances are inevitable and will be there in coming days as well.. Like , they must have established at least one centre in each region of the world..With all the resources like british council being there all over the world, it must be possible.. Or they could have went for alternatives like USMLE did for these unfavorable circumstances.. At the least, they should have facilitated visa for plab 2 candidates.. Hope GMC will learn and do something really fast and really useful...
Dr Arora, I have a question; for the PLAB 2 exam, do we have to always ask the patient for his/her referral letter from the GP if the question says that the patient was referred to you by their GP with suspected cerebellar ataxia for an example. Are there particular instances where we should ask for it or should we not ask for it at all?
Hi Dr Dinoosh, I would not even ask for the letter as a patient would not have it! We cover this type of thing regularly in the live role-play course (alongside many common questions that doctors ask). Hope to see you there! aroramedicaleducation.co.uk/plab-2/
I understand Akshay. Things can’t be more tough. But certain things are not under anyone’s control. You have to grab whatever opportunities are available at this point 🙏
