    Another wonderful harvest! I like to cook turnips with the greens, but it’s not for everyone. Your neighbor is lucky to get yours. Win-win!

    I planted some Sangre potatoes this week. I have them as mid-season indeterminate.

    After you've wilted the collard greens, how do you serve them? I love how varied your garden is. X

      I add a little fat (bacon grease or smoked turkey) and salt to taste. That's it. If you're cooking to eat vs storing for later, you will cook until tender usually a 1-2 hours depending on variety.

    Love you channel Ms. Kim I've been telling my daughter about you...what do you use to keep pest off of your collard greens

    • @HangingwithKim
      @HangingwithKim  18 дней назад

      Nothing. My daughter will pick off any worms. If I see Larva, I will stray down the leaves. If things get bad, I will use Seven but haven't had to use any in several years.

    How many of each type of greens plants do you have? I'm trying to estimate how many pots I will need for a fall planting. I'm not sure if I can get a harvest for Thanksgiving and/or Christmas in zone 7

      I have about 40. It's enough for my family of 4, my neighbors and a year's supply.

    What is your opinion of growing my green stalk inside under grow lights? My neighbor gave me hers but to late to plant outside. Thank you.

      For sure. Check out my indoor garden playlist. I have 2 GreenStalks in my indoor grow space. Indoor Garden: ruclips.net/p/PLU1OIoVFDuh71R5XG9g-cXfFAo1_xeH14
