    This was very informative, thank you. I've been diving for a few years, but I learn something new every day.

    Hii bob
    I intend to buy the apeks MTX R. What confuses me is the absence of the venturi lever and the craking knob...do you think this would make a difference ...should a chose one which has them??

    • @DiversSupplyYT
      @DiversSupplyYT  3 года назад

      Miklu, The MTX does not have a Venturi/ Cracking adjustment specifically to prevent a Free-Flow in seriously cold water.
      They, Apeks, says the 2nd stages are preset and capped to prevent someone from having a costly dive.
      But
      I too LOVE the "Cool" look of the MTX..
      The answer would be, where do you dive, Finland, Norway or Antarctic waters, well in those frigid waters I'd stick too the straight MTX..
      otherwise jump to the MTX-RC still cool looking but completely adjustable.

      @@DiversSupplyYT thanks bob..
      I dive in tropical waters...agree with you...you are right...the RC would give me all the cool features....
      Thanks a lot 👌👌

    Как в Работе в холодной воде 🥶 MK25EVO????

    • @DiversSupplyYT
      @DiversSupplyYT  4 года назад

      MK25 не был бы моим первым выбором для экстремальных погружений в холодной воде. Я бы выбрал APEKs xtx-100

      @@DiversSupplyYT спасибо большое. Тогда MK25EVO будет для тёплой воды 😀 для холодной спарку а для спарки XTX 50 ,XTX200, можно

      @@РамираРамира-и1я Да, лично я бы использовал экологически закрытый регулятор 1-й ступени.

    DIN is so much better: FACTS are that it is safer, less danger to destroy the o-ring, nothing happens if you bang the regulator at an angle, packs smaller, weights less... it is about personal preference but IMO the only benefit of using a yoke the quicker / easier attachment to the cylinder valve. Everything else are negatives.
