Best of luck to you, sir. The CHP is a great career! If only I was younger, I would re-apply.Castro Valley: Please do more of these videos with the CHP.
I work for insurance and i say "If they dont have proof of insurance, call the insurance company and check if they have insurance!" Youll do everyone a favor by not having potential uninsured motorists on the streets.
Back in the day you had to show DMV the paperwork that you passed smog and the proof you had insurance. Now with everything computerized, if you are in compliance, you don’t need to show anything, it’s all sent to Sacramento electronically. Law enforcement can run your plate by their in car computers and get a current status of registration and insurance even if you have warrants. So I don’t understand the fuss over asking for proof of insurance when they already know if you have it or not. If you don’t, the state will know and suspend your registration.
Are you doing okay? If it's electronic, it should be easily accessible to the driver, which the California Vehicle Code requires. The insurance requirement doesn't exist for fun, it's so when you are in a collision you can provide it to another driver. It's useless if you can't provide any evidence of it to anyone.
Penguin LittleFeet I know that it's safer, traffic wise, but I've seen CHP pull someone over on a small one lane only street, and still go to the right.
+OMFGItsLit like I said its officer safety issue. It's harder to shoot officer from right side of vehicle than left side when it comes to being the violator
+Cole Chapman the reason I said that is people are making negative comments. They say the police officer on here has nothing better to do or that he should be attending serious crimes.
+Richard Luis You saw him go to an accident in the beginning and if you hate the vehicle code so much, write a letter telling your congress person to end all vehicle laws.
Why did this series end :( It was so good and well put together!
X2! I love watching these videos with the CHP & want to see more of them!

In my State, the Officer can pull up that information on his "in car computer".
you can have it on your phone
Maybe I should move to California, it's sunny and warm even in December.
Really cool videos
I once had 2 cars run the red lights on my bus get pulled over right after they passed me

Why does CHP no matter where they have someone pulled over, always go to the passenger side of the car?
+OMFGItsLit BECAUSE IT IS THE SAFEST SIDE AWAY FROM TRAFFIC AND MORE PROTECTED FROM DRIVER IN CASE HE/SHE HAS A WEAPON.

+OMFGItsLit There really isn't anymore to it, its safer for the officer
All LEOs are trained to approach a vehicle like that. It's for officer safety, to stay clear from oncoming vehicles.
Don't ever stand behind vehicles parked on the side of the road. Think about what could easily occur.
Isn't the purpose of a "LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER" to enforce laws??SMFH''!!
+Cole Chapman the reason I said that is people are making negative comments. They say the police officer on here has nothing better to do or that he should be attending serious crimes.
+Miguel Herrera sorry. I agree with you
+Cole Chapman its all good.✌
this cop should move to bay area... a lot of drivers are doing california rolling stop at the stop sign.. lol
the stop sign violators really piss me off to be honest. if the road is clear i guess i can understand but otherwise come on!
perhaps when people say they're late for things, you could NOT stand there chatting to the camera.
AllyZ you break the law then you are on my time.
Just sitting there to catch people skipping.. nothing better to do.
so don't get caught slipping easy as that
+Richard Luis You saw him go to an accident in the beginning and if you hate the vehicle code so much, write a letter telling your congress person to end all vehicle laws.
+djmaster1995 I just hate my tax money being wasted.
+Richard Luis You have a lot more to worry about than simple Highway patrol officers in that case
+Richard Luis agree
Stupid excuses when stopped for a traffic violation and excuses for "I didn't know" lame excuse
Guy saw a cop and made a complete stop, ends up getting cited for unsafe lane change anyways
What a bunch of very poorly trained unprofessional officers. No respect for this department whatsoever.
