      Dave O also wanted to mention that I’m a film composer and I’m also into metal, so if any of your bands are in need of string/brass/orchestral arrangements a la Celtic Frost, hit me up!

      @@DaveOteroTube I haven't listened to them much. I'll have to check them out. I'm on a classic rock/melodic metal listening spree mostly these days. :-)

    Just wondering if you have ever compared the d comp with the steinberg raiser plugin? I am so curious to hear the difference. This sounds absolutely incredible.

      Thanks! If I remember correctly there was a little bit of sample blended in on kick and snare, but mostly natural drums. 👍

    Very odd whooshing sound on the snare, but great video demonstration! Thanks !

      A few friends mentioned their name to me at NAMM so I sought out their booth. As soon as I heard the D-COMP I knew it had to be mine. I kept an eye on their page and ordered one as soon as it was available. Definitely not disappointed 😉

    Bitrate of the audio seems to be very low :/

    • @daveotero
      @daveotero 5 лет назад +3

      You're not wrong, unfortunately. I realized after filming that my audio settings weren't maxed out for the screen capture and there is definitely some compression on the transients. You can still feel the character of the unit though and I'll definitely have that fixed for future videos. Thanks for commenting.

    Totally normal behavior of throwing my new compressor on the couch before my unboxing video.
