He definitely spitting bout loc dismorphia. I started mine back in may of this year. I hated how they looked and was tempted to cut em and start over like late October. Random strangers started telling that they looked good and I should thug it out. Got a retwist early November and been in love wit em since 😂😂😂
Don't have loc just wanted to show some love to the vid bro.. I'm 16 months into my hair journey and my hair is thriving because of your tips man 💪🏿👊🏿.
pause
@pxpsipersonnga said his hair thriving cuz of his tip major pause😂
@@WokStarKen ...I can't stand y'all 🤣
@@WokStarKen🤣🤣🤣🤣
predicate you bro!
'it was a very hard adjustment for me because i just felt like i always looked homeless' THIS lmao. I know what my awkward cornrow phase looked and felt like, idk if i can have a repeat of that lol. Also, I worry about jobs (not speaking much on that). Happy to hear your thoughts regardless!
My Boy Bril
I started my journey
Still Following you in this Experience 🎉
Naw the loc dysmorphia is real. I started mines in October. I started with 2 strand twists. Everyday was a struggle 😂 i wanted to cut mines so bad. Day dreaming about the lowcut waves😂 is real. But once you get through the rough days and just rock thru it . Om telling you once u get that retwist.. you be feeling like a brand new man😂. Im on my 3rd month going into my 4 month after January 19th. Its been a long journey i also came from braids/ waves community in so use to haveing a clean look and not my hair hanging and moving 😂 it's a different world bruh 😂 but im starting to like it more and more. Its apart of the process. You wont feel good everyday. Just gotta embrace it and find ways to cope. Trust the Proccess!!!
Been waiting for this one
thank you for waiting bro it doesn't go overlooked
Lol I’m a fashion dread but I’m also a Rasta so I appreciate my locs at all states. Yeah a retwist with a style is nice, but sometimes you just gotta look like Sosa and thug it out 😂
Crazy part is I feel you on that lol
I like your videos I’m only 3 days in lol this video helps
I'm still rocking my stich braids currently i'm 3ryrs in my hair growth journey definitely bout to go ahead and loc in 2025 I think it's time
Why not get finger coils or two strands twisted. Then come back to braids when you are tired of any styles. That's what I did.. I had locs since I was 6-7 yrs old. Cut them off bec I was tired of them in my 20s. Grew my hair back out. Rocking braids and then I mix it up with other styles.
@ I get two strand twist often I just currently have stich braids.
@@rockyb4637 okok. Yeah I currently have same style.
Aye man if you're like me you knew this day would come. Your stitch braids are probably fire and have been that way for Amin. Now you yearning for a new look and new challenges. As anti locs as I was, I dont regret this
Another pro tip: Keep your hands out your head unless you're washing or moisturizing them. Let em rock out and do what they're going to do 🫡
FACTS!
I grew my hair for about 9 months. I started my loc journey yesterday. 😅wish me luck
This was a great video I just cut my locs of 10 years 2 months ago and now I have braids but I’m growing my locs right back 😂😂🤦🏿♂️
lol i understand bro
Crazy locd my hair last year too but shawty that did my starter locs didn't loc my ends so it kept unraveling after 5 months of that I was fed up and cut them ima try it again thanks for the tip
You truly are helping me through my journey. RQQ
Yo gang, I’m thinking of making my 3rd attempt to enter the loc game. Braids are cool but low key my hairstylist is expensive. Thinking of switching it up since I dnt have to get a retwist as after as I’m getting my hair braided. Also I want longer hair and a lot of ppl been telling me locs is the way to go. Gotta make a decision soon while it’s cold out
aye man you got it!!
can we get a water eating tutorial
😂😂😂
Erm he said he mastered every hairstyle not every element 😂
Lots of fruits and vegetables have a high percentage of water in them. For example cucumber, lettuce, strawberries, tomatoes, watermelon, and oranges
The hardest thing is being patient to have loc is easy to grow but hard to maintain when they start growing and locing I started my loc January 7 so kinda hard 😂
It's a hard knock life!
Third time growing my locs back.. second time, while doing jiujitsu. I’m just teaching, and not rolling. My air is fine, but yea retwist don’t last. My hair grow fast as is; I’m 3 and half months in, and they’re pretty much locked
Great video! Inspiring for my journey keep going 🙏🏾✨
no problem brethren I got you
bout time I thought you abandoned RUclips lol love this one bro
lol I thought y'all did too, tiktok been booming
Can you make a video of the fit of your SnapBacks? I think this is a challenge that people should be aware of
Ahh this one is a good one, that's coming up
Damn we got the 1 year loc journey before we got the 5 year hair journey
lmao damn you right, I forgot bro
I’ve had 3 loc journeys now I have braids and I get how u feel about the loc dysmorphia
bruh nothing coukd prepare me for this
We live in a simulation. It’s confirmed!!! Istg I just asked myself earlier this week “what happened to king bril”
lmao if you're reading this its too late
I got my inspo from this vid. I'm starting mine now fk it. 😂😅
f it! i got you bro
I had loc dysmorphia a lot especially when my I had no retwist. I think for me it was how thick mine would get without a retwist. But if I get them again I’m going to make them skinnier.
it comes for us all
Bril great tips I think you really covered it all but what if you dont have a middle part how do you maintain a professional look without it because putting your hair to the sides of your face is easier with a middle part but it becomes difficult to keep that professional look without it
Just started my loc journey with 2 strand twists. Wish me luck (pun intended)😂
lmao good luck bro
Can you use the deep hydration Treatment on locs and when will the shampoo be back in stock. Thanks for all the info you give
Really like your video bro !
thank you bro
Boutta get that loc extensions 👀
lmao you tough
Hey I’m trying to grow my hair out, I know to avoid split ends it’s good to cut your hair down an inch or so every so often but how often should I cut it? I understand everyone hair grows at different rates but is there an average amount of time I should wait before cutting it again?
Do yall have any tips for restarting after cutting twice and the last time i didn't maintain and it made my hairline recede a little bit ( i had them in my hairline) but i want them again how can i restart with out pulling my hairline back or making it worse
I am 14 15 months in my LoC journey and its my second set my locs are stronger before I started locs I had braids and long hair
Don't cut your locs you might regret
" I understand it now" type ish
Got starter locs December 16th, got starters w coils and got two strand twist together so wish me luck
They gone come out fire bro!
My one year loc journey in 1 day
Imma month in it’s almost at my eyebrows already
that's good growth right there bro
Do you recommend doing protein hair treatments?
long story short . locs teach you to love yourself
facts
Hey I hope you get this , I need your opinion on the best loc hairstyles to wear when you work co-operate and need to be neat , well groomed and look professional. Please help
Barrel twist and all backwards ponytail
Hey I haven’t seen you do a video that was the same day I watch it I’m a fan my hair was kinda bald at first now mine a little afro
aye your timing is fire bro, I be going live too
@kingbril what're your thoughts on one using hair grease on their ends to retain moisture/greasing thier scalp? Particularly Blue Magic?
certain grease can heal your scalp and seal in moisture well if you have high porosity
What style you rocking?
locs start budding at the ends first so you did speed up the process
yo king bril i just started my locs with 2 strand twist can i do any protective styles for first retwist ?
lmao the locs are the protective style my G
the loc game is a bit different than the natural hair game my boy
If you are in the midst of or starting your locs you HAVE to be prepared to look like a bum periodically for the first year after that it’s kinda smooth sailing. I’m 2 1/2 years deep and each year gets better. Also remember it’s a journey you basically grow with your hair.
this is facts too lol
arent u supossed to put leave in conditioner after washing ur hair with deep conditioner
nah its not necessary
Exactly your hair is heavy everything
huh?
I got a really dry scalp/dandruff how does that affect locs if I start them?
whats your routine like?
Some one may have already asked, so forgive me if so. How many locs did you go with? Loc count?
108
Idk I didn’t interlock my locs I just let it do what it do but to everyone journey is different
facts
unrelated but I tapered my back I'm 5 years in is it too late to grow it out and then start getting it braided in with the rest of my hair when its long enough lol need opinions plz
Never too late. But start NOW!!!! its winter time so with hoods, hats you can get two strand twist without rubber bands(they'll look like locs). its a messer look but it will hide where you're growing your hair
i personally don’t agree with when u said two strand twist loc slower cause i started with 2 strands and after one month it was locked and budded well obviously not fully locked but it really had the look but that might be bc i have 4c hair
I'm confused Like why black Men or Woman Braid Their Hair Like This Because I never see Anyone with Such Hairstyle in India So is it hair or Cultural thing ?
After one month you were loc'd and budded?? You mean you blunted your ends yourself or you saying they were loc'd. Ion think anybody stuff loss in a month
How many locks do you have

@@KingBrilwhat pomade will let my down cut hair grow faster
Nah that’s fax tho I’m about a year in and all throughout that one year I go from liking my hair to thinking about cutting it.
it happens to the best of us
Bro look exactly like fitxfearless but with locs
lmao idk about that Brodie
about your hair line talking bout you dont really put that video out much lmaooooo im weak

I gave up on locs but I don’t think I had a good start like you did I just ain’t going back to find out lol
I want locs but I just don't want my hairline to recede like most people.
front taper my boy
I had that first loc journey I learned just get not lined up as much
Bet
Bro how do you get the jesus hair bro spill
hi
Its 1 year already
im knowing lol excuse my lateness
One year my ass
its one year of him having locs, not one year of him having hair lol
@@eddek844 lol they so technical man
Sup
THEY CALLED FAUX LOCS !
huh?
@@eddek844normal dreadlocs cant be combed out ,after every retwist its more interlocked ,cutting is only option ,his can be combed out so its not real dreadlocs !
I'm confused Like why black Men or Woman Braid Their Hair Like This Because I never see Anyone with Such Hairstyle in India So is it hair or Cultural thing ?
Yes it is
@@KingBril I Thought its because of Curly hairs
Is it just me or does bril look like fitxfearless
lol hell nah
i dont have locs, don’t want locs. you just too fine to not say anything 🫶🏾
lmao thank you
locs start budding at the ends first so you did speed up the process
ahh that's game right there
