Great video! Thank you so much for taking the time to put this all together. I commented on a past video, some of my block series. Found quite a few more. Lol. You inspired me with Glendon Place. Now I’m collecting them as well. I live in South Georgia my closest LNS is Brick City. I love it there. They are so nice and helpful. Heading down this week. It’s a three hour drive but worth the drive! Congratulations on the new grand baby coming! So much fun! Enjoy the voices so very much!!
I have a lot of the same series. When I saw your Spooky Town Square by Glendon Place, I had to “run” and purchase. Usually I try to wait and make sure I really want, but BeStitchMe only had 2 copies of each of the 4. I am ashamed to say I panicked! “Add to cart!” I am on auto ship from FQS for Log Cabin Christmas. I have the squirrel block stitched and received block 2 yesterday. I am also stitching Hummingbird Garden by Carol Manning (4-part series in the Just CrossStitch magazine, Spring 2024) that I think would qualify for #buildingblocksal. Thank you so much for sharing. Happy stitching!
Yay!! I really need to put some focus into that piece. It’s on my Wipgo but I don’t think I can wait until then 😉 I’m so glad you found it!! I need to check out Hummingbird Garden I love Carol Manning ❤️ so glad you are joining in!!
What a great idea for a SAL, so many great choices and thank you for sharing your wonderful patterns and ideas. Congratulations to Emma Kay, hope you are feeling well, take care of yourself!!
Wow ladies! You have some good suggestions for your building block SAL! I feel like I have a lot of the CCN and LHN ones! Can’t wait to see what you guys work on! Happy stitching!
Thank you for enabling me😂. I already own several block series and have one in progress. Thanks to your video I just purchased a new one to start with your SAL🙃🙂
Loved seeing all the block patterns y’all have finished/started/kitted! I’ll be stitching along with Halloween at Hawk Run-I started in the center and am almost finished with the center block. Perfect timing to get back to it! 🎃❤️ Also, I guess “Home is Where the Wreath is” would also be considered a block series? Stitching in progress on that one, and Halloween Rules by Lizzie Kate, too! Such a fun hashtag/SAL… so many options and variety!
Hello ladies .. another great video! Congratulations Emma!! 😊 I love the idea of this SAL! I have stitched the Spook Town Square .. its so cute! It was such a fun stitch too as I also love Halloween pieces. Haven't framed it yet but I need to soon so I can display it later this year. I have several different block series .. just need to decide which one. I am missing a few of the Nutcracker series but I do have the full set of the Christmas on the Farm series. I also have Glendon Place Medley of Carols that Ive wanted to start as well for awhile. Maybe I'll have to start a couple! 😂
Great video! I enjoyed seeing all of your block series, I didn't realize there was so many. I will be joining in with you but I'm lousy at posting pics 😮 I have the Hometown Series, 1 started for a street of 5. I have Snow Village, the Tree Farm & Kringles & a few single patterns. Hoping this will be the push I need to make progress. It's always fun to "visit" with you both.
The square dance does have a border which they show 3 across in four rows. You can stitch it all in one row, which I am doing for my daughter and I may stitch them separately for me.
I'm definitely joining this hashtag. I started stitching one block per month on two series in January. One is Prim Stitch by Lori Holt and the other is Snow Village by Country Cottage Needleworks. I'm not stitching these on one piece of fabric, they will be done individually. I'll add what I've done to IG later.
I'm definitely looking forward to joining you for the #buildingblocksal. What a great idea! I throughly enjoyed seeing all of the charts that you have! So much variety. I haven't decided yet what I'm going to do but it will probably be one of the Little House Needleworks series. Either way, I will be kitted up and ready to go on May 1st.

Interesting video! I have done little house needlework sheep virtues abc houses. And farmhouse Christmas. I did mine in ornaments many years ago.

Ohhh I love that one by Lori Holt. My snow village really deserves some attention as well. So glad you are joining in!! ❤️
