@@boltstrike2787 Try this idea. Each Senator or House member has so many hours per session allotted for meeting with constituents let's say 500 hours per year, that is about 1/4 of a full time job. That time is divided equally among their constituents, fair, equitable, democratically.
If you want an appointment to discuss your concerns with that representative and you are not a constituent from that representative's district, you must get enough of their constituents to donate their time slot. If you want to talk natural gas fired cooking stoves for an hour with a Senator of NY you have to get 336 constituents of that Senator to give you their time slot. If you cant get the time, it is illegal to lobby that Senator, $M fine for both the Senator and Lobbyist if they get convicted of violating the clock.
Of course a constituent of that representative would be under no such restraint. That idea would not absolutely prevent deep pockets from getting in the ears and hogging up the time of representatives but at least the average constituent might get a cup of coffee out of the meeting. Of course you would need a publicly accessible log of who that representative is meeting with, and what the purpose of that meeting is, to make sure the clock is reasonably accurate. That should be a requirement right now, so you can see how and with who your Senator is giving their attention.

There is nothing to decide for the supreme court. COMMON SENSE should be enough to decide that NOBODY should be immune and be put above the law. If the US collectively is dumb enough to not see this, then of course you need a Supreme Court Decision.
