From LA and toured some places in Riverside yesterday! I absolutely loved it, diverse and beautiful downtown area. I’m going to be a teacher in August and the pay is also higher than La which is crazy to me!

One thing about Riverside I do not like the tax structures not right property values are really going up a house values I like a Southern California but it's getting a little expensive living here illegal aliens coming into I think seeing a change pushing the next I've seen a change in the last four or five years and it's getting worse the cost of living is just getting way out of whack I don't know if this is the place to retire anymore
There are too many cars for the streets that should be 3 lanes each way. Better check out the crime map as well. It's a far cry from what it was in the 60' & 70's. High rents and home prices as well.
My goal

As to the public transportation being “limited”, ever some moving from Riverside so long ago, i have lived in places that TRULY exemplify the term LIMITED public transportation. From a bus system where i now live that only goes about four miles in one direction along the main highway and maybe six miles in the other direction (with some brief trips into neighborhoods that sit back off the highway) but definitely do NOT travel the full length of this valley with many people who do not own a vehicle of any kind - making the taxi business VERY tempting. To places that might be considered cities not do not have any bus system of any kind other than school bosses.
I’d take the “limited” public transportation over my current region’s public transportation any day, hands down.
Oh! And thank you for all the beautiful shots of Mt. Rubidoux! I used to run up the hiking trail on that from the downtown Riverside side of it a couple of times a week. I am so out of shape now. I spills have never left Riverside, California!!

Taxes are a little high here Virginia from the houses and stuff real estate is getting high
For sure she's getting a little too crowded the tax structures not right Joan property here is getting a little expensive crime is up home invasions are up I mean the other day I spent over $18 for a damn fast food place at burrito it's all about money and power I don't see the people very friendly here at all for me
