I have an entire winter layout lit with about 20 Lightailing sets that look fantastic. I really have liked their products but this is the first set I haven’t liked. The remote box clutters up layout and adds expense and rather unwanted complexity that I would have rather had directed towards the mailbox and fence post lamp with lantern on it which this set does not light. Going through install now. Hoping this will function OK and look good with just straight powered USB connection bypassing remote.
You can contact our professional customer service staff for help. Also, we recommend that you test the lighting kit for proper operation before installing it.
So, there are three separate strings of lights. The RC receiver has three plugs for the three strings. One string can have adjustable brightness. One string can have adjustable mode. One string can have adjustable color. You can't adjust the brightness and color on the same string? You can't have flashing red and green lights? The RC receiver is a weird design choice. I'm curious as to how other companies do this.
Thanks for the tutorial! Way more helpful than the pdf! God bless! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! 🙏🙏🙌🙌
Amazing set ..looking forward to adding

Thanks for your comment, if you don't want to remote control it, you can use a 3 in 1 cable instead of the controller to make it always on.
I've ordered two of these and neither receiver has worked please explain?

The three usb ports correspond to different functions of the remote control, in order to achieve different effects, so we did this
Having to light up my set hurts my eyes
