I do that, too. Even when I'm working on something else, I listen to the video and often pick up tips and techniques from what she is teaching.
Does it hurt Crystal if I pause the video? I really am a visual learner so I try to do each row and pause to finish my row? If that hurts Crystal I will stop?

Oh my gosh! Now I've got another one to add to my list. Crystal, your creativity is flowing faster than my hands can keep up! My granddaughters are going to love these and..I can even change it slightly to, say, black and red to accommodate one grandkid's love of that color combo and it will still look very cool! I love all of Crystal's tutorials! I select a play list every night and just let them all play while I am sleeping or at work. I often find one I have not viewed and like it! Thank you Crystal! You are so appreciated! I know you are not big on this style of hat but they do look amazing on you and flatter you very well... Just an outsider's opinion.... But I love them on you!

That is the houndstooth stitch. I always thought that that would be very very hard and of course the way you're showing it is very easy you could teach a dog how to crochet. You are just that good of a teacher. Thank you so much for all you do for us. Much love 🫶🫶

I absolutlu Loved making this hat,i also made it in black and white (off white)but the nr 4 merino yarn i ordered turned out to be a small nr 3 but it worked out nice with a 5.5 needle and one more round in the top. i am happy with it,i had to make a couple of more passes with the brim -i am sure it would have been bigger with the right yarn but i am happy with it and my hubby loves it,my mom asked me if i could make one for her :) i turned 51yrs this january and started crocheing to your videos last year-never done it before-have tried to learn but always failed but with you as my teacher i can do it :) i have made several hats,a blanket,a baby dress,a couple of scarfes ,a shal and some grandmam squares so i am extatic-very happy old woman here. Bless you. Big hug from norway.. now i just have to learn how to read a pattern..

Crystal, have a question. What if I wanted to reinforce that “bill” with a cardboard or plastic support? I was thinking of crocheting the bill copying the pattern “backwards” so that I could fold in the cardboard/plastic and THEN sew it up. Will this work or is there an easier way to do this?

This one reminds me of the hat Barbra Streisand wore in the movie, "Whats Up, Doc?" Everytime you said the bill of the hat, I knew what you meant. It is actually a term for the brim of a cap.
