@@shyamyournamegaming i just rewatch season 1 ep1 yesterday. If you notice, tokyo did say that "in the end i died..or almost die..". I dont think she talking about first heist, because she said "in the end". Maybe after the second heist end, she tell the story to someone that she almost die.
*Tokyo went out like a badass which she is. Kind of a bummer they chose to do that. Can't imagine the heist without her and her temper. She really was a ticking time bomb.*

The symbolism in this scene is so powerful. The professor falling in the bathroom scenifies the weight of the feeling of being responsible for the death of Tokyo.
It's not only about feeling responsible.
Professor loved Tokyo like a daughter one might say. And that shit hurts.

In a chess game it is possible to sacrifice a couple of horses to win the whole game, but to sacrifice the queens for the sake of the horse isn't a good idea, and this is exactly what happened with the Professor's plan. He saved Rio, but in return he lost Nairobi and Tokyo...

As they said, it wasn't Professor's Plan, and he was against it from the beginning.

That's the thing. Everyone is equal for the Professor and they didn't just get Rio back they gave everyone freedom which is ironically what Tokyo wanted since the beginning.
The professor’s reaction broke me. We all know Tokyo had a special place in his heart.

Ever since season 4, Denver became one of my favorites. Just look at how much caring, thoughtful, and more mature he'd become since he started to be a father to Cincinnati. He totally cares for each one of the gang! I guess parenthood does change your principles and perspectives.
omg just like how he still protected rio like his brother when they were stucked in the elevator with a grenade, how he let monica hug rio that one time because he understands what he's been through, and how he said "do you think it doesn't hurt the professor?" when everbody else was blaming the professor because nairobi died, AND A LOT MORE SERIOUSLY. DENVER BEST MAN
truly agree. The best part of money heist is clearly the character improvement, everyone changed so much after all the traumatic situations they have been through. It reassembles the reality, every experience changes you deeply.

one of the reasons i love this series so much is the character development. there were characters i hated and then the next season i would be crying over them. i watched the documentary of this series, such brilliant work.

Her character was so irritating in the previous seasons even though she was badass. Season5 made me love her. Almost cried a river because of this scene. But who knows, maybe this is all just in stockholm's head? or maybe not? :(

Tokyo's whole character but especially her death was such a big draft or maybe even a tribute to the movie Leon the Profesional, the character played by teenage Natalie Portman and the way that Leon died in the original movie from 1994. Well, the ending was totally the same for Jean Reno and Tokio.
