In a chess game it is possible to sacrifice a couple of horses to win the whole game, but to sacrifice the queens for the sake of the horse isn't a good idea, and this is exactly what happened with the Professor's plan. He saved Rio, but in return he lost Nairobi and Tokyo...

one of the reasons i love this series so much is the character development. there were characters i hated and then the next season i would be crying over them. i watched the documentary of this series, such brilliant work.
Ever since season 4, Denver became one of my favorites. Just look at how much caring, thoughtful, and more mature he'd become since he started to be a father to Cincinnati. He totally cares for each one of the gang! I guess parenthood does change your principles and perspectives.

Tokyo's whole character but especially her death was such a big draft or maybe even a tribute to the movie Leon the Profesional, the character played by teenage Natalie Portman and the way that Leon died in the original movie from 1994. Well, the ending was totally the same for Jean Reno and Tokio.

The fact it let main characters die always kept you on your toes - I'll never forget the shock of Nairobi's death. So glad this series went out on top, though, instead of going longer than it should. Such a perfectly acted heartbreaking scene. Ppl say she is erratic and selfish don't get her. She should never have died though. Why not Manila? Tokyo saved the 1st heist with the machine gun, drove back to the bank in police armor, saved them from berlins madness, and loved rio enough to risk her life for him and took down the bulk of elite assassins to save her team in the 2nd heist. She was selfless the soldiers would have hunted them down and killed them one by 1 they were not trained for war. And deserved happiness in the end with rio.
IDK some Tv-series, when one of the main characters dies you don't feel like keeping watching it, but in this series, no matter who dies (except the Professor) you still wanna keep watching it.
