That moment was precisely a character development that made people ask Toriyama himself to keep the character alive cuz he was supposed to stay dead there. Which you'd know if you were a fan.
Hence why I can't like it when she laughs when that part is him putting his pride aside to ask Goku to avenge him.

She mentions in the stream that the 1st time she watched it it was impactful, but it's similar to Yamcha getting blown up by the Saibaman, kinda funny going through it again. One of her favorite scenes is Majin Vegeta's sacrifice and also you can tell by the fact she calls him Vegeta-"sama" that she really likes him.
