According to the AFCB Sydney Supporters group (facebook.com/afcb.sydney/): - The AFC stands for Athletic Football Club. - A player we should have highlighted was Ted MacDougall who scored a world record 9 goals in a single match against Margate in the FA Cup.
Just listened to some of your podcasts in the car on my way to my football or soccer game as you call it over the big ocean :). It's very informative and you're bringing it in a very fluent way. It's a real pleasure to listen to. I will continue to listen your podcasts and watch your RUclips videos. Keep up the good work.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate hearing feedback and it’s always extra nice when the feedback is positive. I definitely plan to keep making videos (currently researching Bundesliga clubs). Thanks again!
AFC stands for Athletic Football Club and it's there because the club was formed from Bournemouth and Boscombe Athletic. Need to use more than Wikipedia as your sources.
Thanks for the insight Harry. I do a lot of research for these videos and never use Wikipedia as a primary source. From what I found AFC doesn’t stand for athletic football club. Having said that, I’m not perfect and may be wrong. Please share where I can more details about the meaning of AFC for Bournemouth. Thanks for watching and for the insight! 🍻

Great little video about the team I've learned to love since their last Championship year...God help me, I don't know why.

Boscombe is a borough of Bournemouth not a town
It’s both
@@jmpsd1699 I've only ever known it as Borough of Bournemouth and I was born and raised here
The club was called Bournemouth and Boscombe at one point though
I am from there aswell and boscombe is a town part of Bournemouth
It’s like a suburb town
