This has become my top favorite manga and, by extension, anime. And I don’t even like the lewd parts that much. The style of humor just really resonates with me. It’s fast, absurd but well thought out, and punchy
You said the 100 girlfriends doesn't have a story well your mistaken cause the harem is the story as we watch characters grow and change (some more then others being more obvious) and it so satisfying as we see those changes and how that effects characters and their relationships with each other with some my favorite chapters being built upon those relationships that lead such satisfying moments that makes want read more and more to see what relationships and bonds will form with each new girl introduced.
Not really an anime person but I’m in an anime friend group; I’ve been quite bored lately and I’m normally into romance anime’s so I asked one of my friends to give me a recommendation. My god, I did not expect the recommendation to be this fire. Can’t wait till season 2. Makes me tempted to read the manga as well. I was kinda concerned that this anime wouldn’t take the romance seriously enough when my friend said it was goofy but thank god that isn’t a problem.
I really want to see a yakuza yandere girlfriend because I want to see Rentaro and her out compete each other for the yandere status. She’s protective of her “gang”(she needs another gimmick to make her tame) and there will be an arc of Rentaro and the girlfriends making her accept them. Also I want her to be dangerous by kidnapping Iku and Rin for torture comedy, Sun because she needs interactions that aren’t her saying numbers, Saki(30) because she will see what an actual boss is, and tries to get Meme, but she escapes to warn the others.
I´ve seen a lot of anime during the years, and now I found difficult finding a good laugh or anime that keeps me in the chair, and this anime did it for me, after so much and I´m happy for seeing it

5:47 challenge excepted. Anyways, I haven’t watched this anime yet, but I’ve watched a few clips on RUclips and have already fallen in love with it b4 even watching it. And among the girls whom I’ve seen in said clips, I have declared shizuka best girl. A few others r fighting for 2nds, but they can’t truly compare to shizuka.
I think the reason this anime doesn’t make me hate having a loli as much is because rentaro isn’t a degenerate so it never really puts the loli in a “sexual situation” (although kursuri is probably my least favorite instance and still makes me uncomfortable)

And Rentarou was barely able to win against the god by bluffing just like the To The Pain scene. So far,things seem normal as there is no sight from another god but I feel like that part in that chapter is not gonna be forgotten any time soon and a callback to that is gonna be made in later chapters because it seems way too important to pass it off as nothing. I expect Rentarou to meet with the love god again to discuss this topic. It would be a good preparation against other major dangers.

Regardless of how old they actually are, if the character still looks like a child in contrast to their other supporting characters. They fit into this category of character archetype. I.e Koneko from Highschool DXD, Wendy from Fairy Tail, and even Rebecca from Cyberpunk Edgerunners, to name a few, all fit the description of what I just said. Hopefully, this helped

This is probably one of my favorite harem anime of all time because of how it turns existing harem tropes on its head. Hakari is a cheery Deredere, but she's also an overly-down bad schemer. Karane is a lying Tsundere that also calls out others for their lies. And of course, Rentarou is not overly dense or perverted like most harem protagonists, but he is a genuinely loving and caring guy who would do anything for his girlfriends.
Kusuri creating an immortality drug is actually a major plot point in the future, since it's crucial in meeting one of the later girlfriends
