Hi all! This game is my least favorite game I've played. It has officially beat out Wolverine: Adamantium Rage, which was my previous worst game ever. Krusty makes Wolverine seem like the greatest game on the SNES. Anyone that has cared to read my review comments before knows that I generally try to put a positive spin on the games I play for LPA, but honestly, it was really hard to find the fun in this game. The fun came from finishing it, like finishing a marathon or something lol. In other words, it was fun to complete the challenge of finishing a terrible, terrible game. I don't even know where to start. First, it's WAY too long. Sure, I was able to convince myself I was having some fun for like the first few levels maybe. But it's almost like an RNG AI made this game. Each level/puzzle is not far from a jumbled random assortment of blocks and tiles, with little rhyme or reason on how to solve the levels. Invisible platforms that you'd never find without just randomly jumping around. Weird techniques of building staircases that you would never figure out on your own without just wandering around trying random strategies. In other words, not very intuitive at least generally speaking. Let's talk about the Simpsons aspect of this game. Well actually, there isn't much to talk about in this respect. It's just a Simpsons skin slapped over a totally different game. Seeing the Simpsons characters was the best part of this game. Only, they aren't doing much of anything at all, and there's only a couple of Simpsons character at any time so it doesn't do much at all. I don't know, I already feel bad for being so negative. I'm sure this is a game loved by some, but it was really just a grind. The only saving grace was that there are a few different ways to solve some of the puzzles and I'm sure there are creative ways to go about playing this game. But it just feels like every level requires 10+hours of running around trying every possible strategy before stumbling across the correct one.
This SNES game was the only game I had for my SNES as a 3 year old in 1992 when I got the system for Christmas. The other game was the super scope, so it was obviously too large for me. It - sucks. I play this game occasionally for the nostalgia via my FX Pak Pro and a Sony PVM - but I often find I just play the first bank of levels and then turn it all off. This game is NOT fun!

Despite the game’s flaws, Krusty’s Fun House is still enjoyable. Yes, the puzzles get harder as you progress. But at least there’s passwords, & I’ll take this game over Bart’s Nightmare, or most other Simpsons games for that matter.
@@jtbknuggetsauce The game has similarities to Lemmings, which is another puzzle game people love. That's perfectly okay to hate it, obviously people have preferred genres they like to play and this might not be yours. It's definitely the only good Simpsons game on the SNES/Genesis.
@@Maxx_XIII I do know lemmings, and I was a HUGE fan of King Arthur's World on SNES, which has some similarities. But I don't think the graphics, sounds, or gameplay is as good with this one. And really the only good simpsons game on the SNES/Genesis? I find that hard to believe but to be fair I haven't played any others that I can think of off the top of my head.
I don't know why I played this game even though it sucked. In the 90s we just did shit without being so terribly critical and opinionated about everything all the time, I guess. Maybe there was something about it. The way the psychotic, mushy sounding music (get a load of that tuba/fart sound soundfont!) fit the spongy, unprecise controls and collision detection, and all of that went perfectly well with the eye-straining, pixelated puke stain graphics ... Maybe in some weird way that fascinated me and drew me in. Every aspect of the game seems carefully, precisely designed to have the *same* flavor of stink. As if the same completely untalented, tasteless person designed the whole game by themselves. Maybe that's exactly how it was, haha.
What in the actual fuck is the level design to 3-11? What kid in their right mind would even come close to having the patience or ability to figure that one out??
@@jtbknuggetsauce I just finished that 3rd level. I do for some reason love the graphics and music (because nostalgia of course... rented it a few times as a kid) but man is it an objectively terrible game.
Like, I like the premise. If the length and the difficulty was toned down a bit, this would have been received far better. This is just too brutal. Dark Souls of puzzle games.
@@longplayarchive It's just VERY unforgiving. Enemies up the wazoo, a need to be absolutely perfect in rat pathing, limited ammo, and huge levels to go through just to even get to some of the rats.

this game brought me immense trauma as a child. I remember getting stuck on every puzzle and begging my busy mom to come help me try to beat it.
You must have been bugging her a lot then XD cause every level is so hard!
For shame. Asking an adult to game for you! XD
the same
Krusty's fun house is cool 😊❤
I hated this game as a child and just listening to the intro and the soundefects unlocked some primal rage in me i had long tried to deny.

Perfect timing, especially since the Not It Simpsons Halloween special aired today!!

holy nostalgia. 6yo me got fkd up in this game, never made it far
26yo me got fkd up too! XD
Title highly disputed. This isn't a house, it's not very super, and it's definitely not FUN. Contains minimum necessary amount of Krusty though.
My Favorite Simpson Game so far!

My fave cartoon TV show, great gameplay.
How come when I do the level the door doesn’t open I think it’s on the 6th level

Umm yes
No wonder I never beat this game between how long it was and my Nintendo never staying on long enough 😂

nice stuff
