Had a lot of fun making this one! I've been really enjoying the OutIn Nano portable espresso maker. Let me know what you think about it!

How did the espresso taste?! Looks very tempting to get. I have a Breville barista pro and this looks like it simplifies all that, but how does the taste compare? Thank you!

@@jeffhardy3x Thanks for the question! The espresso taste good, it's not mind blowing, and certainly not the best espresso I've ever had, however it's more than good to satisfy when traveling or camping. I think you have to look at it through that lens. I think your Breville home machine will probably outlast this if maintained well. They are in different categories of gear, but I imagine if you're not an everyday or multiple times a day espresso drinker the Nano would probably last a long time!

Nice video. I appreciate that you make the reviews as long as they need to be and don't try to stretch out the length, to please the algorithm.
The outin also looks like a nice budget solution, if you want to start with Espresso. And later you can just keep it as a travel option. The fact that you don't need to preheat it, is also a plus when compared to something like a pico presso

@@MrSputtel thanks! I don’t care about algorithms and all that stuff, I’m not trying to be a full time “RUclipsr”, I just make videos I like about coffee stuff to help people learn new things!
As far as preheating it would probably help to run some hot water through it first using the manual mode but that is an extra step that starts to complicate things, and honestly if you’re trying to maximize extraction and get the perfect shot you shouldn’t be doing it on a travel espresso maker! 😂

It seems like a great option!

I like the Outin for what it is. There is only so much that the hardware can accomplish. The basket size and water reservoir limit what ratios you can use, longer ratios to make lighter roasts are off the table. I found that I had to grind much coarser than I'm used to on my Flair.
I prefer it as a portable pod machine. I've purchased a few boxes of pods from Kurasu, which are delicious.
For me, I wanted a budget option to get into espresso. I quickly learned the potential for espresso and moved on to a manual machine instead. It still gets brought to work or camping.

@@6tuf85dyfu I love Kurasu! I didn’t know they made pods, I’ll have to give them a try.

First time seeing your vids pop up in my feed, very impressive production quality and a really great outline of this particular brewer that I had no idea even existed. Looking forward to seeing more. :)

Great video as usual. Not even that interested in that product really. I'm fine with my aeropress for the most part when I travel, but the production is so good, I just enjoy watching.

Thank you, that means a lot! The Aeropress is a fantastic brewer and all that matters is you're happy with your coffee. As they say... if it aint broke don't fix it! 🤣
