- Hey guyyyysss and you know what this is... we are turning Minecraft into SAO, we will install a crap ton of mods and things to make Minecraft (as close as we can) too Sword Art Online, problem is there are too many options SO we have 2 packs to show just how well we have done this.. Now, I guess like always, with all that out of the way, sit back, relax and "hopefully" enjoy the video!!!

I would say the first pack definitely has my vote. Especially if you add a 'leveling' mod like some other people have suggested. While the second one is in the newer version it doesn't quite hit the same feel you know

Definitely would love to see both of them, but modpack 1 gives more SAO feels.

I'll go for modpack 1 cause it doesn't really matter how cool the animations are, it's still has the same damage as normal, and it meets the closest to SAO.

Thank you for introducing me to OTG, it could be useful for my personal Kingdom Hearts modpack I built when I saw Gingershadow had done a mod review and the mod was available on 1.16.5 for sure. And I absolutely love the idea of a fully SAO-ified Minecraft modpack, whether it's a public release, or your next RUclipsr world with people like Rynn and Gingy, or whatever it ends up being, even if it's just a proof of concept.
Gotta say, though, I really wish someone would/could do an Aincrad-themed OTG preset, and then either Waystones or command block teleports for moving between floors (whether the floors are, somehow, actually built vertically, or just placed in different parts of a big/pseudo-infinite map and surrounded by custom borders/bedrock boxes/whatever).

The first half of season 1 is excellent but after they complete the 100 levels I stop liking it
Even though modpack 1 doesnt have cool fighting i think its still good looking and modpack 1 is the best mod i think also if its going to be sao i think it should have the og sao swords eg. Elucidater, dark repulsor etc.

It would be amazing if there was a custom map that was like SAO, though 100 levels is a bit overkill, but imagine 10 floors where everyone tackles 1 floor at the end of each episode and the final floor is a battle between an actual player against everyone, like the real series (option 1 btw)
Was´nt there a mod that lets you create custom dimensions? that way they could have even 100 stages. Each world could generate a different biome only to set the ´next level´ mood.

Hey @Legian Legian I’m making a sao server right now. I’ve been working on it on my own for nearly 4 years. I have teleport gates and everything. Boss rooms. Biomes. I have it all the way up to floor 58 but the server is still in beta

1st mod pack gets my vote. While the second has better combat, I feel like the inventory is too big of a thing to pass up! If there was a bit more than a straight upgrade to 1.16.5, might consider it

Both mod packs seem really cool, I have no idea which I prefer. But if I somehow got into this series, I will definitely make a Sinon skin lol. (Also, the pigs fighting back are probably just for early level characters, like Klein.)

Modpack 1 seems more true to the series and just the fact that it looks exactly like SAO and the overworld looks more amaizng than modpack 2 so I recommend modpack 1

Mod pack 1 personally. Also i think this is amazing idea! An SAO series would be so cool. Also a Tensei Slime modpack would be so dope
I think adding a plugin for sword skills or something like it can be also a hood feature.
Imo second modpack is better, and whilst interface in first is interesting, it will take more of a unreasonable effort
First mod pack honestly seems to me to give the highest chance to spawn cool builds and epic encounters

modpack 2 seems more challenging and it has a lot of skills that you have to learn for your own advantages in fights but modpack 1 have better grinding system to get better just like in the anime.
Edit : i don't actually mind whichever modpack get chosen. i think both are awesome in its own way
Modpack 2 is basically just Dark Souls Combat mod
I'd prefer to see the second mod pack. You could also reskin your weapons so you get cool looks that match your aesthetic for each weapon. If you do go with the first mod pack it would be cool if you looked for a mod that added more weapons (assuming you haven't already)

Well Troy saod it himself. The first pack is taxing on PCs. So unless we want to see a server that crashes every 5 minutes we should choose the second one.
Plus come on, it has the Epic Fight Mod

I think 1.12.2 has a few “levels” mods that allow you to pick a class like miner or farmer or warrior and allows you to upgrade them, could be a neat addition

Modpack 1 gives more sao vibes and it would let the series stay entertained for a while since there is a massive world to explore while modpack 2 can used for a 100 days if you add some fantasy style bosses. So modpack 1 for series, modpack 2 for a 100 days probably
