Open the Project64 3.0.1 folder and start Project64.
There are reference pictures for the tutorial in the Goldeneye AQZ folder.
Configure the plugins. Set your window resolution in the graphics plugin settings. Choose 800x600 if you are on a 720p screen. If you are on a 1080p screen choose 1280x960. You can also play full screen at your native resolution if you wish. Glide 4.0 or Jabo 1.7. Both work.
Configure the Input settings to set the controls. Choose nrage in the AQZ popup when selecting "input settings" if nrage doesn't work, try jabo.
Right click on the rom in the list that you want to play online (Usually "60 Goldeneye 007"). (look at the picture "overclock and ram size") Set the overclock modifier to 2048 and ram to 8mb. Click apply and ok.
Then run the "Replace 60 Goldeneye 007 save.bat" press enter 3 or 4 times.
Now you can play online. Double click on the 60 Goldeneye 007 rom in the list, the AQZ window will appear. Double click on a public server to get an access code. Copy and paste the codes on discord for people to join. Check the reference pictures if you need help.
