The guys in Peru play most nights on Parsec. We have Kaillera Retroarch now too which allows us to play with people who live farther away with lower input delay but the system requirements are higher. Everyone has to have a PC fast enough to run the Flycast with multithreaded emulation disabled (causes netplay desync if enabled) so that eliminates some of the players with slower PCs. I play Mario Kart 64 VS4 on kaillera most nights so I haven't played Rush in a while.

Whatever version was out when the video uploaded. So the latest version at the time. The only setting I changed was upscale factor in the parellel plugin thingy.

Dreamcast. The Gamecube version runs a little better but the audio is horrible in the GC version. If you use Flycast you can overclock the SH4 so the game stays locked at 60fps at all times without any dips.

For the built in Citra server list for the local play emulation, it is fixed with a config file edit. Read the description on this vid - ruclips.net/video/CLRtXRhaCeo/видео.html But the best way to play online on Citra now is to just use CTGP-7 on the Pablo Citra build. It works online and has its own server. You don't need to use the Citra local play servers for this. I tried to keep it mostly 4p games (except for SC and MVC2). Most 2p games that don't require analog stick work fine on Fightcade GGPO. This is just another option for players to use. Also, you get analog trigger range on kaillera. Fully functional! Perfect for Rush 2049.

It is supposed to, but I could never get it to work with nucleus properly (controls would never assign properly). You may be able to just multi instance manually and config controls on each instance though. The old one in the video always worked with nucleus though. I have it in my google drive. @@justase64 Gracias, ya hize uno de prueba pero lamentablemente mi ping/delay es demasiado para jugar bien xd (como 10 frames de delay.. no es jugable) gracias igualmente.

@@flariz4824 Debe encontrar un servidor más cercano a su ubicación. Además, Mario Kart 64 es un juego a 30fps y en p64k, kaillera calculó el retardo como si fuera a 60fps. Así que si tu retardo calculado por kaillera dice «6 fotogramas» en realidad está más cerca de 3 fotogramas en el juego. Puedo jugar GP o 3p VS hasta 150 ping sin problema y puedo lidiar con el retraso. VS4, sin embargo, tiene más retardo debido a la naturaleza de la doble pantalla dividida. Así que 9f GP se siente igual que 6f VS4. Ahora estamos en el servidor. No me importa jugar en los servidores de América del Sur si quieres jugar. Pero normalmente nos encontramos en Miami. También asegúrese de que está conectado por cable para no picos de ping.

@@justase64 Estoy en Argentina desafortunadamente xd. Ademas como que no se mucho de Kaillera creo que hay otros servidores mas halla de la lista. Encontre uno de Brasil con buen ping pero bueno la idea creo seria encontrar algo mas central tal vez.. osea tampoco quiero que sea al revez y que solo yo tenga buen ping. Lo ideal seria que todos tengan masomenos lo mismo creo. Mi internet esta a cable asi que no es problema-- de hecho cuando lo probe el juego por mi mismo, no habia lag spikes (Puede ser distinto con mas gente), solo el delay que era consistente.

GPU can be old and slow. as long as you aren't running multiple monitors with OBS open on an old laptop (like I am doing in my recording which is why it lags sometimes), it should run fine. You just need a CPU with decent single thread performance. i7 3770/4790k should be fast enough for the 60fps+lagfix GS code for no slowdown. They dont have to be an i7, just need to be fairly modern silicon from 2013 or newer with decent clockspeed. On the newer versions of amped on old p64k (netplay p64k from 2003), it is even more CPU intensive so I suggest using old mupen64 or testing out some other emulators. Here is a vid showing how clockspeed directly affects the emulator slowdown ruclips.net/video/c8vBSXXRpXU/видео.html This was on old p64k (from 2003), it will run much better on newer emulators. I prefer old mupen64k++ from 2009 for Amped. No glitches and it runs decent on old hardware when trying to play with 60fps setting.

5900x rtx 3070. Halo 1 on the MCC is very light. All of the instances were locked at 60fps with no frame drops.

@justase64 oh thanks for answering but I managed to fix this, the issue wasnt the nand, it was the Mario kart 7 ROM i had, i used a tool to decrypt the original CIA Game but the issue is that the tool i used, cuts out some "unnecessary parts" so the ROM isnt as heavy, it turned out, it Left out everything necessary for download play, hence the connection issues, i downloaded the game from somewhere else and it finally started working. :)

You would need Flycast or Retroarch with the Flycast core + the DC bios files + the Rush 2049 ISO/CHD

go onto kaillera using any kaillera emulator. If you want the WE4 cassanova build, the download link is in the server announcements of the Sao Paulo server. For the version I am running here, there is a download link on the Miami Secret server that is set up for dreamcast but can be configured with PSX. It is the same one from this vid.

yea its a shame citra 3dvision support stopped working newer citra versions (versions that golf wont even work on are the last ones that 3dvision works on, version 1826 or something) But I am able to use my old 3dvision rig running old drivers and play a few citra 3DS games in 3D. It is so sick. Mario Kart 7 is probably the best in 3dvision.

i think the emulator is more CPU limited than GPU for multi instance. I have a 3070 on this vid. I doubt you would hit max GPU usage considering I could do 12p too but it was my CPU preventing full speed on the final couple of instances. Could just be a bug with that track. I never played 8p since parsec arcade got shut down around the time I was doing these tests. Just did it more of a proof of concept

@@justase64 I finally fixed it in the optimized yuzu EA 4158 emulator, the solution was in config/ API: open gl. / shader backend glsd. and that's it! Thanks to your video I have played dozens of 8p races, thank you very much!
