Absolutely loved the house tour. All those white Omni and statue shelving looks crisp! Really digging the arcade loft also. Your house is the equivalent to the McDonald's play place to me now, from when I was a kid. Lol
I remember as an action figure collector backw hen collectors around me switched off from figure to Bowens then to Sideshow and then to Xm etc etc...my passion in the hobby since I was a kid was always action figures ( like you with the cards) and I was never able to switch off collecting them. In the end I am envious because once you establish a collection of statues in the hobby you can rotate and collection can pay for itself to an extent. When you have 3000+ figures in your collection you have to display out of box so the resale value isn't there. In the end I guess we all just have to buy the stuff we love...great video bro!
I literally just had a friend tell me that he was done with action figures and moving to hot toys for the same reason. He collected marvel legends and star wars black series out of box. He had hundreds and said anytime he tried to sell them to make room for new ones he would get pennies on the dollar. He got sick of it and basically got rid of everything and started collecting hot toys.
@@NoticeDesign It's frustrating, the action figure market has crashed. Marvel played a big role by over producing figures of the same characters and putting out too many toys. The market became saturated and the resell value is nothing. I stopped buying waves and just buy loose figures because I get them super cheap so I add to my collection when I buy loose. I love action figures and love the look of rows of detolfs loaded with figures but you have to buy out of love and not with an intent to make money or even get back what you paid when you sell unless you want to keep a bunch of figures in packages, which I don't. Life is too short, enjoy your stuff or move on like your buddy did to buying more expensive with resell values like hot toys or mezco one twelves.
@@demonized3299 I keep all my action figures in packaging because that's what my aunt did when I was a kid. And I stopped playing with the figures around age 7, and just liked to have them set up. I just got into statue collecting starting with a Diamond collection Batman diorama, and haven't looked back since.

I had to sell my collection years ago ( due to a move). It was pretty broad and I have found that being focused makes rebuilding a collection more manageable. For instance, I have a blue and Grey batman collection started. Thanks to gifts, I actually have a few nice pieces. Just wanted to share.
Great tour. Like the setup, but I think you can put more time in hiding those cables. Maybe finding a way to cover up all those holes to make it look really good. Some back posters or caulking with paint. Keep up the good job!
