Used to be a lot of drug foot traffic going through my alley and the empty lots across the street. I went over there and cleaned those lots, and cleaned the alley when we moved here, and have kept it clean all year. Happy to report the drug traffic is no more. The littering has slowed way down as well. Something to be said for keeping your entire area clean, and free of litter. There's nowhere for them to hide now because I trimmed all the trees and the sucker branches... now there's just a nice green clean shaded area to enjoy all the wildlife around here!
It takes people like you, taking away the venue where mischief can happen, to make a difference.. Bravo! I did something like that in a MUCH smaller area a while back that also had an effect..
@@stefanboster5728 thank you. Agreed...and I am fairly certain the neighbors have noticed, but it's just not everyone's "care", I guess, and that is sad.
It does! I think I managed to bend one of the arms and it doesn't lift as high as it should, but it really helps when backing up over stumps I just cut.
Brad, The Ventrac does pretty well, in most situations. This, almost, was calling for a skid loader or excavator with a forestry mulcher. Keep the content coming. I watch most of them.
I definitely agree with you. In our first meeting that was discussed as a likely requirement, but letting the Ventrac go first let a low ground pressure vehicle get most of it cleared, then give a better picture for what was left and less work for more destructive machines!
I was thinking the same thing in regards to the forestry mulcher. Ventrac makes a great product and I was impressed with what Brad was able to get done with it. I use to do this type of thing with a string trimmer and sheers when I owned similar property. ALL day event to make little progress.
Good morning, Brad! Wow! What a great video. You're correct. There needs to be some serious landscaping/grading back there. But, if it's done, it will be a nice area. SO glad that limb didn't hit you. That would have been one heck of a headache! Thanks for sharing another awesome video with that beast, VenTrac! Have a great weekend and a wonderful 4th of July celebration!
The transformation is really nice. Sitting up high on the VenTrac sure seems to make it a little easier to get on/off the machine compared to my normal zero-turn. That machine really opens up a lot of job possibilities if, like you, are eager for the challenge. Great video for the long weekend!
I believe if you speed up your playback time it would help. We love watching these cleanups but maybe not have a full hour or more to spend on each one.. great works as always!!
nice. i watch several of you guys with your toys. hehehehe the Digitit guy has a cylindrical mulcher that would be good for the uneven area. you guys are so entertaining.
Apparently, your homeless people don't know that logs make great fires to keep warm and cook by. LOL Having a second man on that job would've helped with the logs and stumps too. Nice job.
I'm surprised the Ventrac struggled a little bit with those saw palmettos. Nice work. I just did the same type of job for a commercial property that was having an issue with 'campers'. I could have used that out front deck to hang over the creek bank. How often do you use that machine? I'm not sure if you bought it or have a deal with ventrac for having it in your channel but, would you say that the machine is not just paying for itself but making you money?
I'm not surprised. It is rated for 2" and can do more but the saw palmettos are an extremely tough and fibrous thing to cut through, and are all clumped together in a big cluster. I was on the other end and impressed with how it handled it compared against what it is rated for.
@@CopperCreekCutsI remember well palmettos from my twenty plus years in Florida. Too clarify, I was strictly speaking of that first cluster that almost stalled the machine. They didn't look too be that large of a cluster but that was probably just due to my watching your video on my phone. The camera never quite catches things as they are. It seemed to do better with the palmettos later in the video Any thoughts on my question? I'm seriously interested in whether or not that machine can pay for itself. The deck alone for that is $5k+. I'm not knocking the Ventrac at all, it's an amazing machine with a versatility that is unmatched (including Steiner). I just cannot determine if it's worth my pulling the trigger on one of them
Great video ... thanks for sharing Ventrac did great. when doing a job like that, do you charge by the day, the hour, or the job? Stay safe and God Bless from Texas
i like the machine but to me the wheels on the front of the mower are getting in the way of your cutting. Can those wheels be removed while mowing then put back on when finished? or just removed all together.
Maybe 🤔it's time to get into a ASV and a high flow brush cutter 😊you have a air condition cab and your out of the elements like hornets rain and cold weather 😊
It’s terrible that a florist can’t get some of that foliage you guys are dumping. Try to find someone that can use it and see if you can give it or sell it to them.
53:00Ya see Brad this is the case for always running your flashing safety lights if you had them on that tree would have seen you and not dropped that branch there
I sure hope you never run into a wasp/bee hive. It would be very difficult for you to get away without a severe attack requiring hospitalization. Stay safe out there...
Those homeless people mustv been pissed when they saw this. "HI guys, today were gonna be destroying homeless peoples homes. One man's home is another man's over growth" (proceeds to mow down homes of homeless) lmao im sorry
BRAD! Where am I going to go to smoke meth, drink Heineken and lay on my used carpet now while the shadow people chase me and bugs crawl on my skin for real?!! -the housing displaced individual whom you just displaced even more.
Worthless machine Better off using a skid loader and forest mulcher. Those front wheels would do nothing but get bent up or torn off. Belt driven junk.

I love the function of being able to lift the deck of the ventrac. I’m sure that comes in handy.

These types of cleanups seem so satisfying. Thanks for sharing!! Great job, as always!!
Thanks so much! 😊

Thank you kindly for the consistent support Sir! I appreciate it!
That place is in need of a dozer.
That machine is really a game changer, awesome.
Thanks!
Thank you so much!😁
Thank you for helping there.
I love your videos keep up the great work. God bless you and all your amazement work.
Not even halfway into the first minute of this video I’m smiling. Can’t wait to see the Ventrac eat that tetanus trap
Lol thanks for watching!
Love the sound of ventrack when it goes tru the yard very entertaining and therapeutic to watch thanks for busting ur butt for my amusement 🫡
You did an amazing job, that was a jungle!!
Your recap at the end says it all.
I really like watching the Ventrac and tough cut taking care of business!!
Hey Brad, I noticed something.
If you look closely at 34:24, you can see Florida Man. It's a little tricky, but if you're patient you can spot him.
“ homeless camp” haha love it. Good job😊
Copper creek is my role model

I’ve been needing to find more content to nap too and this is PERFECT, calm but entertaining and loooonnngggg
This video is awesome, thank you!
You mow the Pines down and here in Oklahoma they sell for $30-$60 for that size.
Excellent job ❤👏👏👏
Super Good work lawn you the best friend thans te video Top 🚜🌾🌿🚚😎🍹🤗👍💯
You should pick up the deck going in then lower it. It makes the job easier.
Awesome job. Transformation is amazing.
in addition to the boom cutter (sickle mower) you could have used the grapple to grab those logs too ... justifiable for a business!
Brad, 1:07 seems late in the day to be starting work 😂😂
Great job! Hope clearing it out helped!

Needles ?? Oh no! I would not go needles! That be a job I would pass on!

Good work,Sir.
Great job, Brad! If this thisnt an endorsement for Ventrac, i dont know what is! (But i wish i had one to use around here!)
Looks like a mini bull dozer may have been more effective in some areas. Great video.
Wouldn't have been a bad tool to level some of that dirt out.
Super video
Next mulching 😎
Trees like thank you sir. They stealing my energy
Do they make a forestry mower attachment for that?
Unfortunately not! I think safety is the number one road block, the low hydraulic flow is the second.
@@CopperCreekCuts makes sense

Great video. Did you have to resharpen the blades after that job with all the woody brush and small saplings?
I wonder if you could plug a pole saw into the valve for the deck lift...
You need a power rake for the ventrac
any update on this property curious to see what they did to this project.
Love the Ventrac but you really could have used a big munchie on this one ! ✌️
A Prinoth Raptor 800 would have made quick work of those tweakers..I mean trees and brush.
😬
How is this work? Looks like a leisurely ride in the shade trimming a jungle 👍 for a brush cutter, its looks to be timid approach

Be careful with moving tree stumps the you don’t find poison snakes spiders and other creatures and rocks too
How much did this job cost them? Great work!
Hi I would love to know what work pants you use. I live in a hot humid climate too. Cheers

A Fail Mower it's the better Option for this Job!
💚👍👍👍
A good effort, but actually, I’d say that that owner has CREATED a good place for a homeless/party camp..

making it nice for the next campers ?
Sad to see all those baby trees get mowed down instead of planted somewhere else.
U need to use a muncher, that's thick.
Did you find any needles haha
Thankfully I didn't!
Isn't that machine supposed to be able to chew up those logs
i would prefer a hydrologic mower on a skid steer.
What insurance do you use?
NEXT Insurance for general liability, State Farm for inland marine (covers the tractor/attachments)

You destroyed all that forest…

Don't you ever gas up,
Full tank lasts more than most jobs. I burn about a gallon an hour, 6 gallon tank means if I fuel up at the beginning I usually don't need to stop.
Very very very slow 😮
